Closed 10 minutes early

We went here twice and I had coffee with oat milk which was ok, nothing special but nice and my husband had vegan banana bread which he said was really nice but we went to grab a vegan sandwich to take back to the hotel and they’d closed 10 minutes earlier than stated online and on their opening hours … disappointed to say the least.

Good enough

Had breakfast there. I ate an avocado and tomato sandwich and a kokoa drink. Both good.

Pros: Has both sweet and salty options

Cons: Not a lot of vegan pastries/cakes today

Great for breakfast

We went to Espresso House for breakfast twice during our stay in Berlin, and we really enjoyed both visits. It is a little similar to Starbucks, but healthier and with more vegan choices. We liked the cosy atmosphere of the place and the staff were friendly as well.
There are several smoothies and coffee styles as well as oat matcha latte, which was excellent! The food could be a bit more varied as most rolls and sandwiches have tomato, vegan feta and avocado. There are also cakes. We liked all the food we had and it was great to have a healthy and filling breakfast for a still reasonable price!

Best apple cake of our visit

Stopped in on our way to museum island. Reasonable vegan selection, and the best apple cake of our visit - and we ate quite a bit because it was always vegan. And a nice little bird kept popping in. Sweet. Good clean decor.
