yummy traditional vegan middle eastern cuisine - Edit
I spent six weeks backpacking in the Middle East. I am a big hummus fan and even back home in the USA have hummus almost daily. Happy Cow was a big help especially in Istanbul to navigate where the veg-friendly cuisine was. I loved the simple middle eastern cuisine at falfool vegan house. I loved the falafel and hummus here. Palestinian run restaurant with friendly staff. Recommended!

Friendly service with no problems getting takeaway at the late hour. All the dishes were delicious and I enjoyed trying a sample of multiple things in the Mezze plate including their falafel 🧆.

used to live for 13 months in İstanbul and this definitely one of my fav restaurants. the owner is such a kind & humble guy. the Palestinian food is lovely, they serve you the best salads & the prices are more than fair

Well, worth taking the ferry and enjoying this amazing food on the Asian side of Istanbul. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. We had the kofti and thali, which was full of Mediterranean taste and flavour. I can't recommend this wonderful little place enough.

Very tasty falafel wraps and their special spicy fries are also delicious! Small space, usually good for to-go orders, since the very few tables outside are full most of the time.

Top-tier falafel - Edit
Believe the review hype. I’m a falafel enthusiast (i.e. I eat a ridiculous amount of the stuff), and this may well be the best falafel I’ve ever had. It’s easily in the top three, I’ll say that much. They’re so good that I’d almost feel like getting a wrap would be missing out, because you wouldn’t be able to fully appreciate and savor the taste of the falafels themselves.
Read moreThe salad that came with the falafel was also delicious. Fresh, fragrant, just really nice and enjoyable. The hummus was good as well, but I personally prefer a thicker textured hummus. That said, the somewhat thinner consistency and super creamy texture mean it’s easy to dunk falafel in there, and it can be spooned onto the salad as extra dressing.
Oh, and it’s all made super fresh, too!

This is the best falafel in kadikoy, hand down. Its way too cheap they really should bump up the price a bit 😂😂😂. Everytime I go to moda, I eat a falafel wrap here, it is that good. They dont offer much else but recently started adding more to their menu.

Awesome falafel wrap, one of the best in Istanbul. They add a decent quantity of hummus which many places don't, also everything tastes very fresh and cooked in good quality oil (another problem with many other places serving falafel here).
Read moreI also tried an arrabbiata pasta dish which was ok, not bad if you're especially hungry and want something else, but not that interesting compared to the falafel options. The salad and meze style options could be worth trying also.
I have to say it's slightly confusing what the relationship with the coffee shop beside it is, since there is only very limited one or two tables on the street outside, presumably if you get a coffee you could also eat at the indoor seats.
The prices are very reasonable (maybe too reasonable!) and the location is pretty central, and at least some of the staff speak English.
