Serves meat, vegan options available. Small Lebanese café with a rustic interior. Serves vegan options including flatbreads, smoothies, juices and acai bowls. Open Mon-Fri 08:00-16:00, Sat-Sun 08:30-16:00.
This place provides a simple menu with healthy vegan breakfast options. I had the acai bowl and my partner got the power protein bowl, we both enjoyed our food and felt it was good value and decent portions. A nice alternative to the usual chains.
I would like to go back to try the Manoushe sometime.
Stopped by for an acai bowl. The portion is generous, taste is standard, and the prices on the menu are affordable relative to the area. Menu is straight forward and simple, with lunch meal deals. The space itself is very cozy, with few tables. Good for a quick stop or a catch up for coffee/ tea. Staff are friendly.
I had the Protein Bowl during my visit to Five Grains which was a decent portion, with nice toppings and was only £6! The ingredients seemed fresh and good quality however, the only thing I didn’t like was the peanut butter as it seemed to be the cheap and unhealthy kind that was used. Their menu has an array of options from different smoothie bowls to smoothies, flatbreads and more (most of which is vegan). The only thing I didn’t love about this place and the reason why I wouldn’t rush back is due to the lack of facilities. The cafe itself is so small with only a couple of small tables. Also, I visited with my mum and we both felt like there was no atmosphere there; I almost felt a bit awkward sat in there. The main issue is the fact that they have no toilets for public use which I think if they’re serving food is really bad! The staff were quite friendly. This place is probably better for takeaway. I did enjoy the smoothie bowl however it wasn’t special enough to rush back.
