This is a place that my wife and I try to go to every time we're in Salem. It's either going down hill, or is simply not as good as I remember.
Read moreI understand not wanting to use nut-based cheeses for allergy reasons, but there was a definite over-reliance on some slimy oil based cheese on our pizza. My wife resorted to scraping like half of it off each slice, and I definitely couldn't blame her.
On a positive note, the vegan mac n cheese appetizer was very good and I sort of wish I'd ordered it as an entree instead.
I also think the decor has changed for the worse. It used to have this very nerdy (and tongue-in-cheek) aesthetic with model space ships hanging from the ceiling and in-universe signed photographs of aliens raving about their favorite pizza place. Now, some of those things are still there, but it's mostly just generic sci-fi imagery.
Additionally, the wait time for two pizzas this time was WAY too long, but I can't really hold that against them because it's sort of the beginning of peak *~*SPOOKY SEASON*~* in Salem so increased traffic should be expected.

Maybe if this was in a big city I would have given three stars. However in a small town this is a great pizza place. I had been to Double Sown in Boston a couple on nighters earlier and although this isn’t 100% vegan, it was much better.

I only got to try the Vegan Nick Fury (without the spicy sriracha or buffalo sauce) but I loved it! My friend and I got a half vegan half non-vegan small pizza and they charged us as a whole cheaper non-vegan pizza which made $13 be our cheapest meal in Salem. It may look more like fast food than fine dining, but it tastes amazing to me. I would love to go back and try the other extensive vegan options they offer!

Been vegan for 5 years now and the Vegan Ender pizza at the Flying Saucer Pizza Company is by far the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. If you’re vegan and in the Salem area it’s a must have! Vegan space balls (garlic knots) were ridiculously good as well. Huge vegan pizza menu with tons of options.

I love the vegan pizza here! The cheese is very good. Some vegan pizza places use gross cheese. My non-vegan husband who likes to only eat vegan food when he's out with me says he wishes the cheese stretched more. I told him that's basically what every vegan in the world wants from their vegan cheese, haha.

Been wanting to try to is place for years and finally did. We got the vegan Nick Fury pizza after reading all the great reviews and were not disappointed! Strange and wonderful combination of ingredients and flavors. A must try. We ordered online and picked it up, super fast and easy peasy. Can’t wait to try other flavors next time.
