So good!

This place is tucked back in an alley, but don’t stop looking until you find it. They have a fritter special every day as well as chai. The fritter was such a culinary treat and made for the perfect quick lunch.

Great fritters

Great little spot to grab some lunch that is vegan and gluten free but the food can take a while. I was waiting for 15 minutes for my fritters
The fritters itself were delicious.

Hidden Gem - delicious fritters and kichuri!

I visit Flyover every week or so for a filling work-break lunch. The kichuri - a kind of mung bean and quinoa spicy stew with fritters on top is delicious. A large portion and seems quite healthy.
The place is a tiny stall in a smoky alleyway (worth it though) and there's little chairs to sit on.
Bring your own cup for chai. It would be great if they had washable bowls and cups if your eating there.

Pros: Delicious , Filling, Simple menu with changing fritters

Cons: Location is a bit smokey, Need cutlery/bowls for eating there. , n/a

Delish, little gem

Had the fritters, they are delicious and the sauce is sooo yummy. A tad difficult to find, but if you look for the sign off the main street you can't go wrong.

Pros: Fast and inexpensive , Tasty and original

Hurrah for all vegan Indian street food!

Follow the aroma from George Street. Very limited menu but makes up for it in flavour. I’m not sure if it’s obvious but they use disposable cups for the chai (happy to report they make it with Bonsoy) so don’t forget to bring your own reusable cup.

Pros: Fritters of the week

Cons: Limited outdoor seating

Over-delivers to all expectations

Limited menu, but everything they do is delicious (colleagues ordered the salad, fritters, quinoa khichri & chai). Omni approved as well!

Flyover

Came to this newly opened vegan eatery. Has small menu which makes it easy to select, has some seating mainly takeaway. Settled on a Quinoa Khichri is a mung lentils and quinoa stew topped with beetroot pickles and fried potato and cauliflower fritters.with a tamarind chutney. $12,90. The salads change weeky as also fritters. Well worth the visit. Note opening and closing times.
Nearest bathroom opposite in mid-city 2nd floor.

Pros: 100% plant based vegan

Cons: No washroom
