A vegan paradise - Edit
Are you always struggling to find more than 2/3 vegan options? Well come here, find a table and pick dozens of international street foods from everywhere: Vietnamese, Mexican, Greek, French, Lebanese, fusion, Indian etc etc. I was super happy. A bit expensive.

Cool place in the heart of east Amsterdam. Quite a few vegan options available, such as sushi, banh mi or hot dogs for example.

Different options in nice warehouse space - Edit
I don't understand why this is rated so low by others! There's no fully vegan places yes, but I'd say every other food stand had at least one option. Cafe has oat and soy milk. Vegan hot dogs, soup, vegan poke bowl, quesadillas burritos, Vietnamese food, amongst others! In a nice airy space with independent shops around it. Don't be put off by other reviews

Good for your non-vegan friends - Edit
If you are looking for a place where you can war with your non-vegan friends because the don’t want to eat vegan, that‘s a place for everyone…. But to be honest, I didn’t like the place, because there is a smell of meat in the air, less vegan options, to many meat on the plates of your neighbors at the table.

Many great vegan options - Edit
After reading some past reviews, I was pleasantly surprised to find so many vegan options. There‘s vegan bahn mi, vegan sushi and poke bowls, vegan burritos, vegan noodles, vegan bitterballen and probably more. I decided to get the healthy vegan rice noodles at the noodle shop. They were delicious and the price was also reasonable. We also easily found a free table on a Sunday at lunch time.

Decent place to eat with non-vegans - Edit
Wouldn’t say it’s amazing for vegan options but they have a decent selection and they do have vegan bitterballen which is nice if you’re looking to try something Dutch! Very hot, busy and loud so beware if that’s not your vibe. I got the dim sum and it was great although it definitely was freezer food.

Not as many vegan options... - Edit
I read a lot of positive reviews before heading over to Foodhallen (November 2022). I'm not sure if I just went on an off day or what, but I was underwhelmed, I thought there would be more vegan options. Not all of the booths were open, as a result, it felt incomplete. I also found it to be quite expensive. I wasn't blown away by either of my food selections. It's conveniently next to Filmhallen, which is great for grabbing a bite before a movie. I would swing by Foodhallen for that reason, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit here again.

Super delicious, so many flavours and you can tell it’s fresh! The vegan salmon was interesting- proper ‘meaty’ not sure it was to my taste but glad i tried it! The poke bowl stand had a good few vegan options #Veganuary

Green Thai Curry Noodles - Edit
There are many food stalls with vegan offerings. We had the „Green Thai Curry Noodles“ and it was so delicious. To our luck there were not many people so we found a table without problems, very warm inside.

Many vegan options but hot, smelly and crowded - Edit
There are many tasty vegan options at the food stalls in Foodhallen. E.g. I had some vegan bitterballen, tacos and dim sum - and there would have been much more, unfortunately I was already full. It's a good place to go if you are with non-vegans, because everyone can choose what they want. Unfortunately, it is very crowded and it takes its time to get the food and drinks, long waiting times in some places. It was also very hot inside and smelled burnt and of non-vegan food.

So much choice - Edit
So many stalls with different kinds of food, from Asian to Mexican to Falafel wraps. There is also a beer stall and some funky vegan ice cream flavours if you're feeling adventurous. It is very popular though and we had to do a few laps before we were lucky to grab a table as someone was leaving. There was also an actual DJ playing on Saturday night, had a very cool vibe too it.

Tasty vegan options here 🌱 - Edit
Plenty of vegan options in non-vegan stalls. If you can get over the smell of meat and cheese as you walk into the hall, there are delicious plant-based dishes to be had. I had the noodles and they were phenomenal, full of fresh and nutritious ingredients.

Great concept but not many vegan options - Edit
Nice ambience and was able to find some interesting vegan options (vegan salmon sushi, vegan bitterballen). Good experience if with non-vegans as it has something for everyone. On the expensive side, though.

Bad atmosphere and unsafe - Edit
I completely agree with Groeningen's review below. Also, this place (hosting about 25 tiny restaurants with 1 shared entrance) does not check the corona QR code at entry. Inside it is really crowded and hot. I could not even order food quickly and then leave (for safety reasons) because the food takes ages to be done. I felt really unsafe and annoyed by the attitude of this place in (not) following the rules.

Bad ambiance - Edit
Not worth sitting here at all. No interesting food choices, it's overpriced, it's too crowded and you will be surrounded by meat eaters. Only go here if you are with a group of picky omnivores. I also disliked the digital ordering system — could not filter vegan options succesfully.

very few vegan options - Edit
for it to be a "hip" place, the ordering system in the current time period isn’t efficient and does not allow for any customization to make vegetarian options vegan. You are required to scan the menu and order via the butleroo website or whatever and that means there are truly very few vegan options. what I did have was pretty average and quite overpriced.

Best vegan salmon - Edit
I came here with some friends to find something small for lunch. i saw quiet a few vegan options and decided for a falafel wrap (which is basically always my go-to choice!) and vegan salmon sushi ... being vegan I miss fish and seafood a lot ... and this was no doubt the best vegan salmon I ever ate! the consistency and after taste were a bit different, but I'm not sure somebody would have actually recognised the difference.

Young and fun - Edit
I enjoyded going to Foodhallen, it is a place for young people and there are plenty of food options. But unfortunately for vegans the options are limited. The price is kind of more expensive than other restaurants. I would recommend going if you are with non-vegan friends.

Several stalls serving an array of great vegan food of different kinds. We had Vietnamese tofu noodle bowl and tofu banh-mi rolls with tofu rice paper rolls - all were delicious. The setting is very cool and enjoyable too.

Very few vegan options - Edit
Disclaimer: if you easily get upset by seeing lots and lots of meat being roasted, don't go here.
Read moreSome stalls have one vegan option, but there is only one 100% vegan option, called Mazza. They do deliciously fresh falafel wraps and mezze plates to share. Their prices are reasonable as well.

Good food hall - Edit
Good food hall with a few vegan options, Padrón was particularly good offering all vegetarian and vegan items, and any vegetarian items could be made vegan as they had vegan alternatives like vegan mayo. Good service and friendly staff!
