Open Mon-Sun 12:00pm-2:30pm, 5:00pm-8:30pm.

Oh my goodness did someone say Butternut Squash 😲! Nice little dish that can be made vegan in addition to some others including a pizza and appetisers.

We went here for our first night in Christchurch. The service was good and they managed to fit us in on a busy Saturday night without a booking.
Read moreThere wasn't many vegan options. They had a couple of pizzas and a risotto. We both had the risotto which was nice but it felt like it needed something with it on the side as I was still a little hungry.
Pros: Clearly labelled vegan , Cosy vibe
Cons: Not many vegan options , Expensive for portion size

It really does cater for all dietary requirements which is superb considering it’s an Italian!
The vegan bruschetta is genius, the carrot is soaked in algae and has a beautifully smokey flavour too.
Opt for potato skins if you like crunch, so yum.
Service is great (best to book as they’re often full!)
Lovely atmosphere, I just love it.

Disappointed. Boring pizza too big for one person while the carnivores around me thought their meal superb. I was the only vegan so $28 was far too big. Unable to eat half of it. Get your act together for vegans

I have dined at this beautiful restaurant twice now. Once in a big group setting for my best friends birthday and again for my anniversary. Both times were absolutely amazing. The service is always a 10/10 to me that is just as important as how the food tastes. Which my the way is also amazing. There are plenty of vegan options available across all their menus! And they are clearly labelled. Which brings me to my favourite part. There alcohol menu is also labelled. So you can insure when ordering your red wine that it is vegan friendly. 10/10 across the board for me ❤️

Finally a good Vegan 🍕 - Edit
We loved Francesca's! Very lovely atmosphere, the wait staff is kind, knowledgeable and very attentive, excellent customer service, excellent traditional italian cuisine. The place serve meat but a good option to catch up with not vegan friend, has plenty of vegetarian and vegan options between entrees, pasta dishes, pizzas and dessert, delicious sorbets for vegans with 3 choices. The staff is very friendly and helpful, when you say that you are vegan, instead of look at you like a sort of monster coming from another planet like its happens in many others not vegetarian or vegan restaurant. Also the manager was vegan and very excited to announce that more vegan choices has been planned to come soon. We will definitely be back soon!
