I want to give it 5 stars the food is that good! - Edit
Really tasty, freshly made meal, friendly welcoming staff that asked dietary requirements. The menu has a few vegetarian and vegan options, clearly marked allergens and theybhave vegan and gluten free options for entrees, main and dessert. The lemoncello is so good as well! I'll be eating here everyday!

Nice mediterranean cuisine and friendly staff. Plenty of vegan choices. Not the cheapest or the biggest portions. But nice place off the busy walkways

Vegan + Gluten Free options - Edit
It is difficult, especially in Venice, to find options that are both vegan and gluten free. Frary’s staff understood this and were able to provide options. The vegan appetizer plate was great and they offered GF crackers to go with it. Outdoor seating is on a narrow thoroughfare but that is part of the charm of Venice.

Libanese inspired restaurant with vegan options - Edit
Located a bit further from the busy city centre, you can find this little place next to the canal.
Read moreDecent vegan options that are clearly marked but the staff can answer any questions you should have.
One of the better restaurants in Venice and it’s a life saver for vegans for sure.
Yummy food and decently priced for a more upscale place.
Friendly and fast service.
Place isn’t that big so either come in early or try to make a reservation just to be sure.
Pros: Decent vegan options , Friendly and fast service , Fairly priced for Venice
Cons: More vegan options are always welcome

Tasty meditrranean food with many vegan options - Edit
They offer many vegan options such as hummus, babaganoish, cold and hot plates as well. The food was tasty and staff nice. The cold vegan plates was not the best in my opinion because of it was too spicy and fullof tomato's sauce but the hot place was very good!

Popular busy restaurant. - Edit
Almost the first thing staff ask everyone is do you have allergies, food intolerance? They will adapt dishes to suit and tell you about what's in them. Lovely relaxing candle lit dinner. They also do lunches. Opens 6pm. Reservation is a good idea but not always essential. The food is a mix of Lebanese/Asian/Greek. Not always cheap but portions are generous.

Incredible Mediterranean food in Venice - Edit
Staff is really attentive for any preferences or intolerances. As a vegan I'd suggest trying an appetizer mix, maybe with a side of falafels. They also bring bread to the table by default. I come back here every time I have lunch in Venice :)

Menu full of vegetarian and vegan options - Edit
We had dinner yesterday at Frary's. First of all, it's in a nice area full of bars which are perfect spots for an aperitivo.
Read moreSecond, the atmosphere in the restaurant is great, and the menu offers a lot of dishes. We had the mix of vegan appetizers, simply delicious, and the magluba, which is rice with veggies accompanied by hummus. Plus, we ordered some tasty kalamata olives and sweet onions. Great food! The waitresses were all attentive and friendly, and at the end we had a herbal tea they call "white coffee" that I would heartily recommend.

I had the "try me" appetizer which was a nice variety and each item was delicious. I also had the Biryani entree which was also really good. If I had time for another meal in Venice I would have gone back.

Deserves 5* - Edit
We were there in the evening and it was such a nice visit. The staff was very profesional and friendly. They even asked if we have any allergies and they knew what's vegan. When bringing the bill they mentioned that the chocolat coming with the bill is vegan as well. Little details I really appreciated. The food was also amazing with many vegan options (even 3 dessert options). Would recommend to go there!

Delicious - Edit
I came as a group of 4, and we shared the vegan sampler before enjoying our own entrées; the sampler came with naan and an assortment of hummus, another dip/spread, veggies, a piece of falafel, a dolma, some lettuce, etc.; it was delicious. As an entrée, I got the magluba, which is vegan if ordered with hummus rather than yoghurt. It was great! The hummus was especially amazing. The service was excellent too, and the staff were very friendly. Also, they brought out four small chocolates with the bill, and the server kindly told me that the dark chocolate one was vegan😄

Delicious - Edit
There is a huge vegan sampler appetizer with warm pita. Delicious hummus, dolmas, falafel - about 8-10 different samplers. Main courses were perfectly spiced and beautifully plated. The service was prompt and friendly. It’s a woman owned and run business. Vegan dessert options too! Definitely a place to go!

Tasty and compassionate - Edit
We had been visiting the Frari church and were really hungry. We searched for vegan food near us and found Frary’s right across the little canal from the church. When we entered, the server told us that they were closing in 15 minutes so we would have to order something quick, we sadly said we were vegan and very hungry, thinking we would need to try and find another place to eat, but she immediately led us to a table and told us what we could order due to the time constraints. Everything vegan was clearly marked on the menu. We ordered two appetizers: falafels which were good, and hummus which was the best we have ever tasted! And we have tasted a lot of hummus. Everything is made in-house. Well worth a visit.
