Great vegan cakes

Cakes and milkshakes were really delicious. Take care though it’s a shisha bar, so you might have people smoking around you.

Their vegan pepperoni pizza was really good

It was my first pepperoni pizza since I went vegan and I must say I enjoyed it very much!

Dulces exquisitos!

Han sido ya varias las veces que he ido a Freedom Cakes, tanto para desayunar como para merendar un rico batido o un bollito.
A destacar sus empanadas de Cheeseburguer y las cuñas de chocolate :)

Shisha bar

Be aware this is a Shisha Bar, that's a clear no-go.

Not the best place for a meal

We stopped by around 9pm and the atmosphere was more of a cocktail bar. Most customers were drinking alcohol and smoking shishas, so ordering a few baked goods, a coffee and a tea made us feel definitely out of place. Also the décor, which is really cool, matches a cocktail bar much more than a café. Anyway what we ordered was delicious and the staff were really nice. A couple of months ago I took a few sandwiches b4 catching a train for a one day trip and they were really tasty.

Pros: Many sweet and savoury vegan options, Nice staff, quick service, Cool décor

Cons: More of a cocktail bar, Smoke and smell from shishas

Amazing place perfect to have some cocktails and food

I came to Freedom Cakes Diner but was full and then found the new local very close from the other. Open till late and offers a large menu of drinks, good cocktails, focaccias, cold sandwiches, empanadas argentinas and a lot of cakes and other sweets.

Pros: Nice place, very colorfull and trendy, Good customer service, The food was really yummy

Cons: Nothing

Try the Focaccia with mortadella

Anyone going definitely needs to try both the focaccia with mortadella and the empanadas, very tasty!

Very vegan pizza in Madrid

We ordered all the pizza types available and they were really good, the cheese was spot on. Good margaritas, as well!

Pros: Pizza, Margarita, Music

Underwhelming

The music was loud and did not match the vibe of the place. Staff forgot about our order, and after reminding them they still brought a wrong thing. Food is precooked and simply just ok. Overall underwhelming and overpriced

Cons: Pre-cooked, Overpriced, Unpleasant atmosphere

Not as good as the original place

This is a new branch that offers sandwiches, empanadas, focaccias and pizzas. Also they have some sweet options. Food was ok but personally I found that they don't have as many options as in the original store (and everything is pre-cooked)and it's kind of pricey for what it is really. Also the place is really cold inside. They kept the door open in winter. They don't have Coke, only Pepsi. Since it's in downtown Madrid you really have lots of vegan places around so I wouldn't recommend it unless you need take away.

Cons: Expensive , Cold inside , Pre-cooked food

Delicious Desserts

The new Freedom Cakes Cafe, minutes from the flagship location, continues to offer high-quality desserts at a reasonable price.

The interior exudes a modern look, mixing black walls and strategic lighting. Calle de Barcelona is a gorgeous, peaceful street with plenty of seating.

The Roscon de Reyes glistens with rock sugar and candied fruit, mixing sweet and citrus. The whipped cream stuffed inside is fluffy, thick, and sweet. The hot chocolate is dense enough to eat with a spoon and complements the Roscon wonderfully (dipping encouraged).

The new Freedom Cakes cafe is just as good as the original restaurant with a new sleek updated interior.

Pros: Price, Options, Location
