Caring and, attentive service - Edit
The Tuesday evening when I had my first visit here, it was very quiet in The George. I was feeling strangle dizzy and the young man serving was so helpful. He took time to explain their fries weren't vegan as they use the frier for fish.
Read moreThe vegan burger was tasty. The order was taken with care, so it was reassuring that I wouldn't get dairy cheese but 'shees'.
If they could have a vegan optionwith more veg and less carbs it would be helpful, especially for diabetics and coeliacs.
Pros: Tasty vegan burger with trimmings, Nachos offered as chips fried in multiuse oil, Lots of seating and spacious layout

It's been great to have hearty vegan food. We had some choices of a vegan burger, jackfruit roll or curry.

Very lovely lunch - Edit
Came to The George after trying many other cafe’s in Petersfield. Lots of vegan options for mains and a vegan pudding that wasn’t Sorbet! Very delicious! Nicest lunch I’ve had for a while out😄very lovely atmosphere, helpful and kind staff. Would defo recommend and I’ll be back!
