Serves meat, vegan options available. Large restaurant and lounge with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking a scenic inlet of the pacific. Has a separate menu for vegetarians and vegans. The vegan section has eight entrees including a Buddha Bowl, edamame tofu bowl, spicy kung pao bowl, several salads and soup. Some of the vegetarian starters can easily be made vegan and staff are always willing to arrange moderations with the chef. Located on the Selkirk Waters near the Galloping Goose cycle trail. NOTE: Reported you must ask for the vegan menu. Open Mon-Thu 11:00am-9:30pm, Fri-Sat 11:00am-10:00pm, Sun 11:00am-9:30pm.

Try the salad - Edit
I really enjoy the Buddha bowl (ask for no yoghurt) and poke bowl (sub tofu in place of meat), the yam fries are seriously so good everyone in my party ordered their own side because we couldn't get enough of them. The modified poached pear and candied pecan salad is also fantastic. Ask for no feta and it is vegan. The cocktails are also delicious.
Read moreI cannot emphasize enough how good the salad is. I know fries and a salad are usually meh and sad excuses for a vegan option but I've gone here just for the salad and yam fries and I've never been disappointed in it.
Pros: yam fries and salads are perfect, kitchen has tofu on hand, cocktails are incredible
Cons: no vegan desserts, difficult to get in without a reservation

Great For Dining with Non-Vegan Friends or Family - Edit
Every month I have a luncheon engagement with my brother and cousin, both long-time non-vegans. For several years now I have chosen Glo when it has been my turn to host because in addition to good service, a central and scenic location, a liquor license and reasonable prices, it had a vegan Buddha Bowl on the menu along with all the other usual non-vegan choices. We all liked the restaurant enough so that I felt encouraged to email the management about scaling up the vegan menu with more choices. It didn't happen overnight, but it did happen. Initially it was just a vegetarian menu that leaned heavily on cheese, mayonnaise and yogurt, but recently they have expanded this menu with a dedicated vegan section with a half-dozen entrees, mostly 'bowls' with rice and an assortment of vegetables and sauces, but attractively plated and tasty. The servers understand what a vegan is and it is nice to be treated like a human being instead of a troublesome oddity. It is also refreshing to have a range of choices instead of having to construct a meal from bits and pieces of other dishes on the menu. I haven't eaten my way through the entire menu but what I have had, the Buddha Bowl and an Edamame Tofu Bowl, were made with care, and though the portion size was generous, I emptied the bowls. For a vegan dining out with non-vegans, this is probably the best experience available in this city.

Thanks for the update. I love the location but stopped going when I became vegan because they really had nothing available on the menu for vegans, unless you wanted a modified salad or fries. I think many years ago they had a couple options. Now I might check them out again :)

Checked the menu after I commented. There doesn't seem to be any vegan options on the menu online 😞
