Do yourself a favor and eat here. We got the 5 course sampler, and it was a revelation. Some of the best vegan food of our lives! They even brought us out a 6th course because they insisted we try it. Friendly staff, amazing atmosphere, a must-visit!

I wanted to love this place and have looked forward to it for months - we were finally in the area. It took an hour and 10 minutes for our food to come out. Waiters (clearly they are not assigned to each table) kept saying they would be right out and this was 4:30 on a Saturday so not peak time. We were told “the manager had been informed” of the unusually long wait for our food- the manager never came to speak to us or anything. The appetizers were $14 for about 2 bites - the crab cakes were basically a corn meal ball. The only thing we ordered with any flavor was a sweet potato tamale but even that just really tasted like sweet potato. We don’t like spice, but we do want flavor and this place had none of it. I want to support and encourage 100% plant based restaurant but I cant with this place bc that would mislead everyone.

Gracias Madre is delicious! It’s on the pricey side, but each time I’ve eaten there everyone (even non-veg folks) have loved their meals. Be ready to wait a bit - even with reservations - as it’s a popular place. They offer valet parking.

We were full of expectations when we got to dinner at this place. The service were great, the atmosphere were great, but the tasting menu was not the level we expected. It felt like it was pre cooked and not made to order which was a shame as it could have been great. We will get back another time and order ala carte to see if that's better.

If you're in L.A. don't miss this place. The bar has amazing original drinks alcoholic and non. The food is beyond good. Gorditas are delicious. Potato tacos are another favorite. Atmosphere is terrific outdoor and indoor. The service is perfect. No rushing you along and it's the kind of the place you don't want to be rushed but hang out and soak it all in. It can get pricey but only because you want to try everything.

The atmosphere was so cool and the food was amazing. We got the cauliflower with nacho cheese on it. The waiter said it was one of their most popular dishes and I thought it sounded so weird but it was really good. Then I got the sweet potato flautas which were amazing, the guac was especially good. The service was an issue though. It took us a really long time to flag down the waiter to order, and again to get the check. They were obviously understaffed because they were keeping some tables empty even though there was a wait to be seated.

Fantastic vegan menu. Cheese plate was excellent, Jackfruit tacos and the chorizo chimichanga were full of flavour and so delicious. Dessert menu was phenomenal - we had the apple fig cobbler, which was heavenly.

The jackfruit tacos and cauliflower dish blew my mind. The tacos were the best I’ve ever had. The jackfruit was cooked so perfectly that I didn’t want my meal to end. Please open another location in Chicago.

I would say that we paid more for the setting and overall ambience than for the food. Expect to wait quite a while for a table and for rushed service, which is understandable... I'd say it's a place to come once to check out but definitely not more. There are better food options in other parts of Hollywood! But I will say that their menu really kicks [censored] in veganizing Mexican favorites, and their cashew-based creams were very good!

Possibly the most beautiful outdoor Mexican patio restaurant I’ve ever been to! The food is incredible too! It’s not cheap, but definitely reasonable and more affordable than I’d expected. Seriously just one of the loveliest meals I’ve had! We went for brunch, wish I could’ve gone back for lunch and dinner...never enough time.

i could talk about this place for hours. it is so beautiful inside and on the patio. the staff is super knowledgeable about the food. the guacamole and the salsas were yummy. the coconut ceviche was so creative and well done. the enchiladas verdes and jackfruit tacos were unbelievably tasty. the strawberry shortcake was absolutely amazing. i wish we had this place in michigan
