Beautiful location and extraordinary great service!

All vegan restaurant right at the Groenplaats. I had a burger with fries which was very tasty but a little bit dry, which isn’t too bad because they provide vegan dips. The cheesecake was tiny but delicious and the waitress was so nice and gave me another slice because of my disappointment when I saw the size of my order. All in all a recommendable place to eat out!

Excellent Location and High Quality Food

Really tasty food and in an excellent location. Everything is vegan and all food is very imaginative.

Pros: Location in the Centre, All Vegan and very tasty dishes, Interesting and imaginative menu

Cons: Quite high price but to be expected for location, Should advertise 100% vegan more clearly., Does not do chips or similar.

Great vibe, location & food!

It's ALL VEGAN & yummy!
Even my fiancee that is carnivorous loves it!

There are several diferent beverages and I strongly recommend Kombucha & the Macha Chai with the dark chocolate pie OMG #todiefor

There are several options: Curry, burguers, salads, soups, I almost try it all! Amazing every time, cozy and friendly service

Good food

It says it’s vegetarian, but I think it might be vegan. They offer Thai curry, burgers, wraps, soup and cakes. I had a small bowl of good, warming (cold day!) vegetable soup, made of puréed carrots and other vegetables, for €3.50. I regret that I didn’t get back there during my time in Antwerp to try a burger or wrap. Seems like a great place. Student discount available.

Pros: good soup, good location, good menu

Okay

Not a good place if you first want to read the menu with something to drink because you have to order at the bar and when eating alone this is so inconvenient! They also don't want my cash, only card, which for me is a problem.
I kind of like the atmosphere and their choice of menu, the food is okay but to expensive for what it is. I ate there 2 times but now I choose other places.

Pros: Location

Cons: paying in advance and only by card, expensive

Comfort food

I really like the food at Greenway. At the Belgian festivals, they have this Korean pulled soy sandwich, which is definitely the best sandwich I ever had by far. I literally ate at least one of them on every festival day of Tomorrowland, 2 weekends long. They also had them in their restaurants for a while as a suggestion. Last time I was there, they didn't have it anymore, so instead I had the pumpkin curry that was one of the suggestions at the moment. Great flavours, and you can spice it up to your taste with the red chili sauce that they put on the tables. We also tried all of their desserts and would definitely recommend the chocolate cake, you won't regret it! Hopefully the Korean pulled soy sandwich will return to their menu as well... Fingers crossed!🤞

Pros: no nonsense, great vegan food

Wonderful Burger

The vegan red pepper burger here is delicious, I highly recommend it. I would skip the chips and guac, as they are store bough and poured from the bag, with a less than generous dollop op guac.

Pros: Ideal location, Beautiful Interior, Helpful staff

Tasty vegan burger

The burger I had was delicious and big enough to get full. The only thing I would mention for next time is to place veganesse on the side as I am not a big fan. They were very generous with it.

Pros: tasty, good size

Cons: too much sauce -veganesse

Nice place at Groenplaats

Great place to visit right in the center of Antwerp. Maybe a little bit more pricey, but I think it is worth a visit, especially if you want to eat a proper veg meal. We ordered red pepper burger and kebab wrap. Burger was very tasty, tasted a bit like fish, instead of just salad, tomatoes and pickle it was filled with salad, bell peppers and eggplant slices. It came with a side of potato wedges topped with guacamole which was delicious. The kebab wrap was absolutely fantastic, could be one of the best vegan meals I had in a restaurant. It came with a nice little salad that was very refreshing. You also get a vegan garlic dressing which was great on both the salad and wrap.

Pros: great food, location

Cons: expensive

Wonderful place with delicious vegan options

Very cozy place and welcoming staff. They offer several vegan wraps, salads and mouthwatering desserts. I ordered a wrap with falafels that was accompanied by a small pot of a salad. It was the best wrap that I've ever tried.

Pros: Tasty vegan options, possibility to take food away , meal is packed into a cute bag if you take it away

Cons: A bit pricey, but it's worth visiting

Decent vegetarian place in good location

This place sits nestled between omni restaurants at the 'Groenplaats', a lively square in the centre of Antwerp. The food won't blow your mind, but it's not bad either. It's a fast food place after all, and not your sweet little veg*n place around the corner.

Not everything is vegan, but things are clearly labelled. You order inside at the counter and a server will bring your food as soon as it's ready, which means fast service and you won't have to wait for the check when you're done. It's the perfect place to grab a quick bite on your tour of the city.

The only thing that bothered us was that the cutlery is kept outside in buckets where everyone touches it as they pull out a fork or spoon. Perhaps it would be better kept inside and given to customers as they order. That way servers still wouldn't have to bother with it, but it's a little more hygienic.

Pros: friendly staff, quick service, central location

Cons: dirty cutlery

Delicious vegan/veggie fast food

Oh my! The Greenway is already some time in Antwerp, but for some reason I never tried. Until 2 months ago. And I have been here 3 more times since then.

They don't have a very large menu, but the burgers are very tasteful, especially the jalapñoburger. And I have to confess: I got addictes to the potato wedges with vegan sour cream topping.

My husband got a crush on the vegan desert!

The staff is very friendly and I think at Greenways they do a good job, introducing veggie and vegan food to people who are not familiar with it. You can also choose between a lot of healthy drinks.

The concept is simple: a nice interior with a lot of wood, very simple, but still very cozy. You just choose what you want and you order at the desk and pay for it immediately. 10 minutes later they bring your delicious food at the table.

We introduced some non-veg friends and they were very enthusiastic about it!

Pros: Nice atmosphere, Above the average fast food, Most delicious burgers and potatoe wedges

Cons: Nothing

To commercial

Greenway is a really nice concept and it's nice it's in almost every big city. But after 2-3 times you really have had everything on the menu. (If you eat as much as me ofc). It's nice to grab a quick bite when you are in a hurry, but apart from the desserts I won't even bother to visit again. Except, of course when I'm in a hurry on a train station.

Pros: Very tasty cakes and pies, In all the big cities, Fast service

Cons: Mainstream vegan food, Bit pricey for what you get

The food is allright.

A couple of remarks.
There's a hippy dippy colorfull atmosphere. Wich is not exactly bad persé, and plenty of people like this sort of stuff, but to me it comes across as severely outdated.

Same goes for the menu. It's nice, but it doesn't really excite me or make me go "yesss! I need to try this one out". It was innovative 10 years ago.

I had a jalapeño burger last time(I love burgers and get them whenever I can), and honestly, I've had better veggie burgers at some of those gourmet burger joints. The toppings where great, granted, but the patty was very meh and came across as undercooked.

The girl behind the counter was quite friendly, but the guy who brought the food mentioned that if I wanted to get any hot sauce, I was free to grab some myself in the back. I was alone, so this meant leaving my stuff unguarded, plus there were almost no other guests and he was chatting with the girl, so even though that was not his job perhaps, I thought this was at least a bit inconsiderate.

This might come across as a bit harch, but I didn't dislike my experience. It was perfectly fine. I just wouldn't go there again, seeing I can get other things nearby that are better then fine at a better price. And that's a bit of a shame, I would have loved it to be excellent... :-(

Pros: Lot's of choice for both vegetarians and vegans., Food is just fine.

Cons: Prices a bit steep for just fine.

Vegan fast food

Finally a decent place in Antwerp to grab some vegan burgers! They offer burgers, wraps or mains like spaghetti, curry, ... and some specials on the board. I think it's good value for money and the portions are rather sizeable.

Pros: Many vegan options, Nice modern interior, Friendly staff

Cons: It closes too early to get a midnight snack :)

Nice food, outside a mess

Visited late one evening and it had obviously been popular during the day as the tables were messy and not cleared up. This was a little off-putting but we found a table in the open window and the place was nice and bright.

I had a Vegan Kebab Wrap which came with salad which was tasty, and followed it up with some black forest gateaux which was a bit of a novelty. All in all not bad.

Pros: Nice location, Tasty Food

Cons: Not great value, Tables outside hadn't been cleared

Okay

I used to go to Greenway in Ghent, so I was really thrilled to find out it was coming to Antwerp!

I like the food, but it could use a bit more variation. Also some stuff is a little expensive in my opinion.

But all in all it's a nice place :)

Pros: Vegetarian fastfood

Cons: Not much variation in the dishes, A little expensive

Amazing food!

Me and my boyfriend visited Green Way on a day out in Antwerpen. I had the vegan kebab wrap and it was the most amazing wrap I've ever eaten! My boyfriend had the (non-vegan) cheese burger, which he was also happy with. The portions were very big, we agreed that we could have shared my wrap. Since we were so full we decided to go back later that day and get the dessert. I got the vegan brownie in a to-go pack, and it was amazing!

Me and my boyfriend had never been to a vegan-option resturant together so in the two years we had been dating this was the first time we got to go on a real "lunch-date". And my boyfriend proposed to me later that day. Green Way was for us a perfect place to have eaten on before that! We can only wish Green Way comes to the Netherlands one day!

Pros: Amazing food!, English speaking staff, Central location

Amazing meal

Such a friendly restaurant in a great central location on the square. Good choices for vegans, i had the kebab wrap with salad which was divine. You get help yourself homemade vegan dressing. The waiter saw how much we were enjoying our meal and gave us free daily soup to try and a selection of 3 vegan dips! I recomend the vegan mango or raspberry lassi and various fresh juices. We still made room for the best vegan brownie and a yummy vegan carrot cake. The guy who served us also gave us 4 vouchers for free vegan brownie if we went into the Greenway restaurant in Gent later on in our Belgium holiday! Amazing place, i highly recommend:)

Pros: Lovely wraps and burgers, Great vegan brownie, Really friendly staff

Decent Food, Central Location

We were fed up with most of our ideal veggie targets being temporarily closed and stumbled across Green Way. It was 100% vegetarian with several vegan options too, conveniently located on one of the city's main squares. Our server was kind and prompt although her English was not the best. The BBQ seitan and salad I ordered were enjoyable but my gf was underwhelmed by the jalapeno burger. The prices were fair considering the location. It is convenient if you're hungry and in the area.

Pros: Vegan options, Convenient location

Healthy (vegan) Food

You can find the Green Way in the center of Antwerpen, near Groenplats. The restaurant looks really modern and comfy. No cash.
I ordered a vegan burger, it was called something like Mexican Burger with Jalapeño cream. Spicy, as the name says, but really good. Not sure if this is the only place in Antwerpen, where you can get vegan burgers – but at least the only one I found.
As dessert I had a really chocolaty brownie, super good. Maybe the best brownie I ate, super fluffy and delicious.
My friend had the Thai Curry. A huge portion with too much rice. The sauce was good, but contained something we could not identify. Maybe it was soy meat, maybe it was artichoke – we could not identify just by taste.
And as suggestion for the restaurant itself: Smaller portions (especially for the curry) for less money, would be better, at least in my opinion.

Pros: huge portion, vegan burger, comfy and modern atmosphere

Cons: huge portion, price moderate
