Better than burger fuel

Went here ahead of the Greta Van Fleet concert and I was blown away by the quality, I was told this is similar to NZ’s burger fuel but this was far better for the same costs. The burgers were great, the portion sizes good, and the restaurant was very nice.

Would come here for a pre-concert feed again

Pros: Good portion sizes, Friendly service

Burgers

Ordered for delivery. We had the Vegan Zesty Mexi and the Vegan Garden Goodness. Ordered the vegan garden goodness on a panini and looked the same as a bun? Either way they were both white bread heavy. The burgers were well thought regarding flavor. I did like both of the sandwiches. A good option when you’re in Melbourne.

good burger

Had the vegan garden goddess and was pleasantly surprised. The veg tasted fresh and aromatic, even the avo was good (can be a hit and miss, since sometimes you can taste that it’s prepackaged guac). The veggie pattie was nice, but pretty bland, the bun wasn’t as soft as I hoped it would be. However, the burger as a whole was decent and the chips where delish! Would defo go again, maybe try the impossible pattie.

Meat Free Mondays

Grill’d offers 2-for-1 plant based burgers on Mondays if you become a member of their loyalty program. We like to get a couple of Impossible burgers on Mondays before a cheap movie at Kino. Can’t go wrong, in my opinion. I’ve always found the patties throughly cooked but I also like my Impossible burgers on the juicy side. I think that’s how they were designed to be cooked. I’ve found other branches overcook them. Flinders Lane has the friendliest staff, especially the FOH manager. Sit on street and watch the laneway life.

Grill'd actually use Impossible meat, it's much nicer than Beyond!

Oh, true! I always mix those 2 up - they taste pretty similar to me.

Undercooked

My beyond meat burger was quite undercooked - have had a lot better at other outlets
