Very yummy

H.O.P.E is a very good restaurant. There food is delicious and very well made. I would defiantly recommend the green curry and “egg” rolls. They are also 100% organic so there soy is good to eat!

Pros: Organic , Delicious, Good portions

Cons: No parking it’s only valet , Small place (crowded) , Definitely recommend to order out

Hope and Home. Worry free healthy eating.

We saw this when asking siri for restaurants when we were in the area and gave it a try.

Oh my gosh, the Thai was awesome and the sweet and sour faux chicken was still crunchy the next day.

Not very elegant or cosy inside, but the food is why you are there.

Pros: Food flavor is awesome, Caring about the earth and us veg-heads, Tastes great days later

Cons: not many parking spots, loud and no ambiance inside, hard to find

Favorite vegan Thai place!

This place might just be my favorite vegan eatery out there, but I should say that Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines to begin with. Regardless you need to try this place if you haven’t yet. Their food is delicious! They have so many different vegan dishes and pretty much everything I’ve tried here has been amazing. I hope the open more H.O.P.E. locations.

Pros: Better tasting food than any non-vegan restaurant, So many different meat substitute options, Food is full of flavor

Cons: Parking is difficult, Might be a wait if coming at a popular time

MY FAV VEGAN RESTAURANT EVER!

If you are vegan, GO. If you are not a vegan, STILL GO. The food is amazing, I promise you will not miss meat not one bit. Pumpkin curry roti, freshy rolls, steamed, grilled, or curry dumplings to start. Orange chicken, Kai Ga Tiam, Panang curry, pineapple fried rice for you main. ALL SO GOOD! Thai tea, and ginger lemonade are delish too. Chia pudding and tofu flan are amazing.

Pros: everything

Cons: nothing

Our favorite place

We love HOPE and order it in from postmates about once a week. Whenever we go to the restaurant the staff is always so kind. The food is amazing and they have a wide variety of choices. Our favorite is the Crispy Chicken and the Freshy Rolls, but it’s all so good you can’t go wrong. This place even got the seal of approval from my Uncle (who is a devote meat eater and a very picky eater)!

Pros: Lots of options , Great food, Small family business

Wish they would open a H.O.P.E restaurant in our town.

In town from Arizona for a LA Dodgers game and a day at Universal Studios. Found H.O.P.E on HappyCow before we left AZ. We left Universal Studios around 5:00 PM and I called the restaurant around 5:30 PM. They were so gracious to squeeze in our party of three for dinner at 6:15 PM. This place is friendly and welcoming from the time you walk in the door. Eclectic menu of eastern and western favorites with an emphasis on Thai dishes.
We started with the Satay and Steamed Veggie Dumplings. OMG...they were both so amazingly delicious!!! I could have made a meal with just those two dishes but was happy that I didn't because the Tom Kah Kai soup was the best we had ever tasted. We also ordered the Pad Thai, which is always our daughter's favorite, and Kai Ga-Tiam (Soy Chicken in Garlic Sauce with Broccoli) with sticky rice. Those dishes were excellent as well. I can't imagine that there would be anything bad on their menu. I just wish that we could have gone back to try more dishes but our time there was too short. One last thing...my daughter and husband both got chocolate cake and coconut ice cream for dessert To-Go. The whole meal was a treat from start to finish! Our server was wonderful too!!!

Pros: Fantastic Food with Good Sized Portions , Friendly and Welcoming Staff, Valet Parking w/ Validation-Call to verify nights.

So much love for H.O.P.E.

We love this place so much. Between the members of my family, over time we have tried everything on the menu and haven’t had a bad meal. The service is excellent.

Wonderful Asian/ American Vegan

My wife and I were passing through the SF Valley and we're hungry. Happy Cow delivered! The food was delicious and well presented. Portions were ample. Price was LA reasonable. Valets parking was manditory due the small parking lot and multaple busy venues.

Pros: Tai dishes. American vegan burgers. Fabulous soups

Cons: You will pay $5 to park.

excellent food!!

We had a great experience with our take out from this place. For 3 people we ordered the spicy noodles, pad Thai, and cowboy style burger. For appetizers we had the crispy spring rolls, crispy seaweed quinoa rolls, and curry dumplings plus banana spring rolls for dessert. It was all delicious! It was also large portions (even the appetizers!) and we found we couldn’t finish it all and offered others a taste. The “beefless” in the spicy noodles was so good!! My boyfriend got worried when he first tasted it... saying “is this place ALL vegan??”

Pros: large portions, delicious food, great mock meats

Cons: parking sucks

Amazing!

Tried the place for the first time and absolutely enjoyed my experience. Dishes are skillfully prepared and visually stunning.

Tried their soy chicken and it’s better than anything you can buy at the markets. Looking forward to trying their Seitan next time.

Highly recommended and will be back again.

Pros: stunning presentation and awesome soy meats. , friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.

Cons: parking

INCREDIBLE

This is more than just vegan food - there is some serious skill going on back in that kitchen! I don't usually do the fake meat stuff, but from all of the reviews and pictures I opted to try the wings, and I am amazed! Unlike most vegan meat, I almost went to check my phone to see if I ordered from a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. (I ordered delivery.) The texture was freakishly like chicken. You've GOT to try it.

I also had the wonton soup. Super flavorful and light at the same time. Not crazy salty like so many Asian soups. PERFECT.

This is beyond eating vegan - this is innovative gourmet talent that happens to be vegan.

Disappointing not for reasons you'd think

Their food is amazing and I wish I could visit again. The reason I won't EVER?

Valet parking. I don't appreciate having to pay more for this, and the valet told me it would be free if I spent $15 or more at the restaurant.

I live on a limited income and don't appreciate the attitude implied by this. So as much as I'd love to support organic vegan places, they have permanently lost my business (I was there twice before).

Pros: organic, vegan

Cons: valet parking, service so-so, limited parking

Not so good

We went to HOPE and the place was packed and noisy. The service was slow (they served people who ordered after us before us). I had a rainbow salad but it had so much BBQ sauce that I could not taste any ingredient. My husband had a chicken roll that was good. French fries were bad. Everything you order you need to pay to add avocado or proteins... Other vegan restaurants in the same area don't extra-charge for that and are quieter (and food is better). It's not a bad place, but my experience was disappointing. I would no go back.

Cons: slow service , noisy , not the best food in LA

lovely lunch

I finally came here with another friend and her baby for lunch. We were the first ones there after they opened and stayed a couple of hours. Other customers came and left, but the staff was always friendly and attentive to us. We ordered the Muay Thai kick wings, super greens and Pad Thai to share. It was all delicious and beautifully presented. My friend ordered the mac and cheese for her son and let me take a bite as well. It was amazing. Not your usual mac and cheese as it was incredibly flavorful, almost like a casserole, so I will be back to have a whole dish to myself. Overall, it was a lovely lunch as the décor is inviting and modern, the staff are friendly and the food is delicious.

Pros: tasty dishes, friendly staff, nice atmosphere

Loved this place!

Ordered Praram and tacos. Boy those were good!
I am the hardest to please begin eater and consider myself to be somewhat of a foodie.
This menu seems to be an updated and modern version of the typical Thai vegan cuisine. Don't hesitate to go here

Good place -not completely what I imagined though.

First off, Happy Cow has the times incorrect. I went there at 4 pm and had to wait til the chef came back at 4:40. They let me "hang out" but weren't incredibly welcoming (the manager). The wait staff that arrived later, however were really friendly. Many things were gluten free options and they said 90 percent organic - but I wouldn't estimate it to be that high (based on my questions). I noticed they serve 7-up, Coke, Pepsi in refrigerator right next to the Kombucha and I spotted Non-organic soy milk...
Sooo, not saying the place isn't good, just appreciate clarity. The dish I got with some variation to it- was very yummy. Overall a good experience but thought I'd share about those few things....
