Serves meat, vegan options available. Ethiopian restaurant serving a vcegan veggie combo as well as boba, smoothies, and other beverages like lattes. Open Tue-Thu 11:00am-9:00pm, Fri-Sat 11:00am-9:30pm.
the veggie platter was great. we ordered 2 and that was a good amount for two hungry adults and one 3-year old. friendly and personable owner. and you can sit outside of you’re still covid-cautious like we are. high chair and booster seat available. real dishes (not disposable).
We were so excited to find an authentic Ethiopian restaurant! The owners, a couple from Ethiopia, are so kind and good to their customers. As we have become regulars, the wife knows I am always going to get the veggie combo! Since I cannot have overly spicy food, I was so grateful that the split peas and cabbage/potato dishes, were mild and still so flavorful! And the injera bread is out of this world! Not everyone who makes injera bread can make it with an authentic taste. Also, the little side salad is delicious. I normally can use this meal over two days! I highly recommend checking this restaurant out, especially if you love supporting local and family owned!
Great food at a great price from great people - Edit
Fasting food, as Ethiopians call it, is clearly highlighted on the menu. We got the $14.99 combo and shared with two, was plenty. Added the awesome sambusas. Great taste. Couple running it are wonderful, all smiles while working hard. A small place with fast service (counter service) and great food. My friend who lives there brought me and I wish I lived in this area to enjoy more.
My partner and I are big fans of Ethiopian food but usually have to venture to Oakland or Berkeley for it. It’s exciting to finally have one in Fremont! While this restaurant doesn’t have a ton of seating and has a small menu, the food is so good! I ordered the veggie to-go combo which includes kik-alicha, atakilt, messer wot, salad and a healthy amount of injera. I honestly wish the portions were even larger because it was delicious! Definitely recommend trying out this place if you’re in the area.
