Perfect pho!

I love getting takeout from Hanoi Kitchen - they’re one of my fave neighborhood restaurants! They’ve got a dedicated vegan menu with good variety and flavorful dishes! Their pho is some of the most flavorful vegan broth I’ve tried!

Pros: Dedicated vegan menu , Delicious vegan pho!

Veggie pho and chrispy rolls

My boyfriend and i are visiting portland and ordered some to go soup from here. Had to call back to figure out wich broth was vegan and which was meat. But other than that the soup was good on a cold day. They do offer vegan crispy rolls now i saw a previous reviewer wanted them.

Pros: Quick pickup. came with lots of veggies for soup, Tasty crispy rolls

Cons: Didnt lable the broth we ordered veg vs. meat ., Only 3 crispy rolls in order, No hot sauces in to go order.

Tasty Vegan Options

Has a vegan specific menu section with 6 or 7 options. The curry is delicious with rice or noodles, and my fiancé loves the vermicelli bowl. Staff knowledgeable about veganism and I always feel confident ordering from here

Pros: Really tasty, great fried tofu, Affordable

Authentic Vietnamese Taste

Ever since my husband and I came back from a trip to Vietnam, we've been sampling Portland restaurants to try and relive our wonderful culinary experiences. Hanoi Kitchen tasted the most authentic to us, with a vegan menu section of about 6 enrees, including pho. The coffee is lovely and closest to what we remember. You can order it without milk. There's only one vegan appetizer, a tofu salad roll and no plans for a crispy roll since there isn't much demand from vegans who visit, according to the wait staff. Everything tasted fresh and very flavorful and the staff were fun and attentive.

Pros: Authentic tasting, Vegan menu section, Delicious and fresh

Cons: Only one vegan appetizer
