There is no more paper menu, you order directly from a tablet.

There is no clearly marked vegan section, but some items are vegetarian. Tell the waiter that you are vegan and he will point you to the proper items.
I had a pea soup as a starter, then a vegetable curry, and rice with mixed vegetables. Everything was good but the rice portion was way too big.
Heavy noise from the road, better sit more on the inside if you like it quiet.

Happy rajah is a chain, I went to the grand Baie location. It is not vegan friendly, after speaking with the staff, the only options were potatoes or veg biryani, they were not willing to omit cream or ghee from the other dishes. I had the potatoes, they were fine. disappointing experience!

Lecker, aber sehr scharf. Die vegetarische Vorspeise ist für eine Person gerechnet. Beim Hauptgang gibt’s reichlich Reis. Sehr freundliches Personal. Es gibt nicht nur weißen Reis, sondern auch Gemüsereis zum Hauptgang.

Nous avons voulu prendre à emporter ( soir de semaine), nous avons précisé que nous étions vegan. On nous apporte un menu avec des noms de plats mais sans descriptifs.. Après avoir effectué nos recherches sur internet, on commande.
Read moreNous avons attendu 1h (contre 25min annoncées) au bout de laquelle on nous apporte nos plats qui attendaient en fait sagement sur une table depuis 20min….. la serveuse après vérification s’aperçoit que les plats n’ont pas été fait en version vegan (honnête de sa part) et nous précise qu’elle a relancé la commande, il nous faut attendre 10 à 15 min de plus, nous sommes partis sans nos plats!
La serveuse nous a expliqué qu’il y avait beaucoup de nouveaux dans le staff et nous a offert les 2 boissons prises en attendant… peut-être que nous avons tout simplement manqué de chance ce soir là!
Pros: Serveuse honnête et professionnelle , Menu vegan à part sur demande
Cons: Menu vegan sans descriptif des plats , Attente trop longue, Mauvaise organisation générale

Curry's, tandoori, rice, naans. Dedicated vegetarian menu and vegan options available. Service is good ans people welcoming. Often fully booked on Saturday nights.

Incredible Indian food and large portions. You can sit there or do take away. Very nice, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Separate vegan menu with additional items.
