Still does vegan ramen - Edit
Not sure what happened to a previous reviewer, but they still do a vegan ramen. It's nothing spectacular, but it did the trick.

This was the perfect quick and simple dinner for us! The vegan ramen was delicious and well priced. The broth was very flavourful and it had yummy veggie toppings. The staff were also very friendly! Would highly recommend!

Food is quite well, ambiente run-down - Edit
It was very tasty and sufficient for my big hunger (large bowl). Really liked it. No wet wipes before meal like elsewhere. Non vegan options were good as well as family members say.

Simple and Tasty Vegan Ramen - Edit
A small hole in the wall kinda place run by a really cute older couple. It only serves 1 type of vegan ramen which is simple, tasty, huge portion size ( for medium) and really good value for money. I loved it. Someone on here said it was tasteless but I certainly didn’t find that. The flavours were delicate but they were there! If you wanted to you could add white pepper, chilli oil, chilli flakes of soy sauce - all on the counter in front of you. We would definitely go again!

Medium Ramen - Edit
I don't want to say the Ramen was bad, it was just a bit bland and nothing special. It's a good option when you're hungry and want to have a fast vegan meal, but i definitely ate better Ramen in Japan. Still worth a visit.

Great! - Edit
Small place that serves vegan ramen (& edamame). You can either buy a medium or a large portion. The ramen is quite good however it needs a bit of salt/soy sauce (which you can add in addition to chili oil and flakes). The staff was very friendly and the food arrived fast:) Would recommend it if you fancy a good and rather cheap ramen.

Tasty and original ramen - Edit
It's a traditional ramen place with a older couple offering the food. They have one vegan option (small and big size). The ramen was really tasty and perfect for the rainy day!

Yummy - Edit
They have one vegan item on their menu and it was damn good. Wish they could add tofu or some kind of protein in there, but still a hearty meal.

Good ramen, quick and easy dinner - Edit
Came here for dinner. A no-frills local joint. For vegans there was only one option—the vegan ramen. I was famished so I ordered a large portion (you can choose between medium and large). It was tasty and the broth was full of umami. But toppings were a bit lacking; some sort of vegan protein would've been nice. It was a cheap and quick meal. I was in and out in under 30 minutes.

Authentic hole in the wall with lots of happy guests - Edit
Tiny place serving lovely authentic Ramen. The large serve is BIG but not too heavy, just right. The couple that run the place are nice and adorable and the place has a cozy chill vibe with lots of happy diners. Everyone eating there was raving about the food - they know what they are doing here!

Great vegan ramen - Edit
Their menu has few options and only one vegan ramen, but it was super delicious! The place is tiny and it was very warm inside, we had to queue at the door for a little while as well. Owners/staff are a friendly couple, they speak only a little bit of english though.

Wonderful, authentic, diner style place. Right when we needed it. - Edit
We were doing the walk of shame, had two different veg places on the map on this road that we wanted to eat at (Zirael & Mimikou) but, both were closed, we were just wandering the street starting to get hungry and lost on our first night in Kyoto. My eye caught a sign in english that said "Vegan Ramen", so straight in we went.
Read moreYeah! I loved it. This place is a simple classic diner style japanese restaurant. They likely have 12 seats tops. Basic menu that clearly called out the vegan option and described it well. Wonderful favor, awesome portion. The couple running the place was very nice, they pretty much knew what we wanted by the fact that we walked through the door😄
So happy they had that sign in the window. They get 5 stars simply for existing but, 4 stars out of respect for the happy cow rules as they do serve non-veg items
Pros: Great Flavor and Portion, Vegan Ramen Sign in the Window, They were Open

They were really nice and funny! If you speak Japanese and it’s not too busy try starting a conversation with them😄
Read moreThe Vegan Ramen option is a sesame based soup with a lot of vegetables. You can choose between two sizes. The smaller one is 950 JPY and the big one is 1,050 JPY. It’s a really traditional and old place though.
