Occupying the premises of Cumin Club, and after a brief period with Bangladeshi restaurant Dhakaiya, we now find a new branch of the Holy Cow. It's funny, usually you'd think the fare and standard of each restaurant would be pretty much identical, but I think I've perceived noticeable differences: their Ringvägen location was the start, I believe, offering vegan naan bread quite a few years ago already. Sadly it seems the quality may have declined, or be more of a hit-or-miss, which I've heard from vegans and non-vegans alike. In Vasastan, Holy Cow is mostly open in the evenings, and aims to provide more of a quality restaurant feeling. I remember having a dish with big chunks of mango and being quite impressed with it.

My experience, at least up until this point, is that it's a dependable restaurant with nice decor and ambiance where a weekday lunch dilemma can be easily solved. At affordable prices, mind you! 115-120 sek is pretty reasonable in this day and age, although I must admit I'll typically be hungry again within an hour or two. XL versions of the dishes would suit me just fine; what business will start accommodating us, greedy guts? Also, I appreciate the fact that they offer SEVEN vegan options for lunch and are not willing to do without cash-paying customers :)

We ate here tonight. A whole section of the menu has vegan dishes. My husband had the chicken tikka masala made with soy chicken. I had the palak paneer with tofu. We were going to order a dal but our server suggested we already had too much food (we had also ordered dal). The portions were very generous and the total cost actually quite reasonable considering the breads and a beer.

Lots of delicious vegan food - Edit
Very good food, there were six of us and we ordered 6 vegan dishes with vegan papadam & samosa. All 6 dishes were incredibly tasty, but the vegan palak paneer with tofu, vegan korai, and vegan tikka masala were truly outstanding. They were simply irresistible!

We ordered the food with home delivery and it arrived perfectly packed and still hot! We ordered three dishes to be able to try different things and it was A LOT of food for two people. But we saved it for later meals of course :)
Read morePalak paneer with tofu was insanely good, tikka masala very good as well but I maybe would have liked tofu instead of veg-chicken(would be nice to have the option, maybe possible to ask at the restaurant).
Looking forward to try more dishes from them!

Best indian restaurant with a lot of vegan dishes - Edit
One of the best Indian restaurant I have been so far in Stockholm. I have tried many indian restaurants in Sweden and Holy Cow Södermannagtan is by far the best. Their palak paneer is incredibly tastey. I am difinately coming back.
