Come for the food stay for the experience - Edit
The food is yummy and the owner is awesome. She has accounted for vegans and gluten free diets. She uses local produce (a lot from her own garden) and the menu changes seasonally.

You can taste that it‘s good food - Edit
All the vegetables offered here are homegrown and you really taste that. I had the Northern Thai soup because I wanted to try it, and while it wasn‘t my favourite dish of all time (I mean the recipe itself!), I could really taste the quality of the ingredients! My husband had the stir fried vegetables with rice and again, they were so good.

Amazing quality - Edit
We stumbled across this restaurant by accident (the place next door was closed). It was just before 8 but unfortunately they were so busy that after waiting half an hour we were told they were not taking any more orders 😞. Because it was so busy we decided to try again the next day but they were opening later than usual 😂 Couldn't win! Anyway, third time lucky we got in! The dishes we had were worth the wait! The owner came to chat to us about the food and the business and was very accommodating explaining what she could make vegan and ensuring me she used no fish sauce or hidden ingredients. I had the Koi Soi and it was incredible! My BF had the green curry and mirrored my opinion.
Read moreIt's so fresh and you can taste the love in the dishes.
They had quite a bit on the menu that was unavailable (spring rolls, dumplings ect) which was a shame but I guess we'll just have to go back!
Also very affordable for the quality!
Pros: Fresh ingredients , Friendly owner/ staff, Really good value
Cons: Would love it to be more vegan focused

Delightful Vegan Dishes and Cooking Class at Jeab's Farm to Table Restaurant - Edit
I would give 5 stars (which I can’t because Happy Cow reserves 5 stars for fully vegan places).
Read moreWe discovered Jeab’s restaurant while searching for good vegan options in the heart of old town Chiang Mai and were delighted by what we found. Her dishes are not only delicious and healthy but also offer a wide variety of vegan options.
Jeab informed us about her cooking classes, where she can provide a fully vegan experience. This piqued our interest, and we decided to give it a try.
In the class, we learned to prepare our own curry paste, using fermented beans instead of shrimp paste for a fully vegan version. We also made a herbal salad, soup, curry main dishes, a Pad Thai-style dish, and dessert. Jeab was an excellent communicator, providing a comprehensive and enjoyable cooking lesson. She has a deep understanding of food preferences and allergies, easily adapting recipes to meet our needs.
Meeting Jeab and learning about Thai food culture and family traditions from her was a highlight of our trip. Her creativity extends beyond the kitchen, as she also shared her beautiful art made from lotus leaves.
I highly recommend visiting Jeab’s restaurant and taking her cooking class for a memorable and enjoyable experience!

A dose of dopeness. A spoonful of serotonin. - Edit
A huge dose of doneness a massive slice of returning loved hot pot panda incredible we found it by chance the welcome in the service that was offered was top-notch. I can’t think of anything better. I’ll give it five stars if I could but it has to be fully vegan and vegetarian. I have to say the head chef the store owner the incredible creative GM was so friendly so welcoming and she literally sat down with us told us about her recipes told us the history behind and the reasoning behind them gave us all the medicinal properties of the local veg why use it how it used and that just made the experience so so much better ready to go to a place where chefs were members of staff takes so much care and pride it into what they’re putting into their food and sharing that knowledge with the people that eat there especially people who love food and love cooking themselves that was a true true gift . 100% will be telling everyone who comes to Chang Mai to come and visit this place seriously go visit it you your belly will be full. Your mind will be full with knowledge. It is top-notch thank you so much for having us. Can’t wait to come again.
