Nice newcomer

Inviting bakery cafe with lovely service. My vegan sausage ciabatta with roast peppers was toasted for eating in. I was happy to be able to opt for a side salad of roast Jerusalem artichokes - an underrated vegetable in my view.

The cafe offers free soup to the community - also minimising bread waste - so it's nice to support that by bringing your business here.

The enormous windows and open-yet-cosy mezzanine make this a nice place to hang out and people watch.

Note that the sign above the door (Buttermilk) isn't the name of the business.

Cons: No vegan pastries, Cooking smells a bit intrusive
