Serves meat, vegan options available. A traditional Korean restaurant serving Budaejjigae (Korean stew). Owner can adapt the stew to vegetarian or vegan (started offering because many customers were asking for it). Knows the difference and will check if one can eat dairy or not. Vegans be sure and ask for vegan condiments. Owner speaks English.

Budaejjigae tipico ( stufato dell’esercito coreano-americano) - Edit
Consigliatissimo!

Pretty good - Edit
Make sure you specifically tell the owner if you want vegan - and explain that means no cheese. Ours was bought with a slice of cheese on top.
Read morePrice was the same as the normal one which is a bit annoying since the vegan stew is basically just a stripped down version. But the taste was good, it also had tomatoes in which is quite unique.

Tasty Traditional Korean - Edit
Had the Bibimbap - ordered without meat or egg. Came with many sides including a soy bean soup. A few of the sides were not vegan (i was with a Korean who clarified for me). Overall a very tasty meal.

Best Budae Jijgae! - Edit
The owner is very friendly and it feels like he loves making his Budae Jjigae in different variations. We got the vegetarian stew and he even asked if we would like to have cheese on top or vegan version.
Read moreThe food was delicious and warming inside. Highly recommend to visit this place! I would give 5 stars but sadly its only possible for full vegan and vegetarian restaurants.

Very tasty - Edit
Very tasty hotpotlike stew that can be made without meat on request.
Read moreWe tried to order it vegan, however there was a slice of American Cheese in it so specify what you don't eat.
The owner speaks a bit of English :)
The location on the Happy cow map is wrong even though the address seems to be correct. Try to manually find the address on Naver to find the restaurant. I also attached a screenshot of the correct location on the map.
Pros: Tasty, Big portion
Cons: Contained cheese (easy to remove the one slice)

Korean Veg Stew - Highly recommend! - Edit
It's been a nightmare trying to find vegetarian food in Korea and after days of eating Shin cup noodles, you could imagine my delight when I stumbled upon this restaurant that says "vegetarian stew available". The owner was friendly and speaks English. He was able to make vegan stew (or lacto-vegetarian if you want the cheese in your stew). He also served vegetarian condiments making sure that only non-meat items were given to me.
Read moreOwner said he had many requests for veg food in the past so he decided to be supportive of us vegetarian community by creating a veg/vegan stew for us. He knows it is not easy to find veg food in Korea. He welcomes more vegetarians visiting his restaurant.
The stew was very good. I was very tired, hungry and a bit cold, so the stew really hit home for me. Just what I needed to recharge.
