Gluten free and vegan friendly Sicilian restaurant

Off the tourist trail. Very friendly service. Multiple (!!) and very clearly marked vegan dishes with excellent flavours from the beautiful island. Really good experience.

Nice evening

We had a nice evening here. Food is clearly labeled. 3 vegan appetizers, 4 primos, 2 secondos, and 3 desserts. The vegan appetizer plate was very good (except for the fries). The risotto is not really a risotto but still tasted good, the penne with pesto siciliano was pretty good and the spaghetti also. The pistachio dessert was delicious, but very sweet. Two people in our group ordered seafood and also liked the food.

Pros: Vegan options clearly marked, Vegan plate + penne + pistachio dessert

Cons: Risotto not very authentic

Average

The vegan options are clearly labelled.
I had the "vegan misto" as an appetizer which was good, but the fries were too salty.
The "Penne al pesto siciliano" were pretty bad.

Pros: Vegan options clearly labelled , 100% gluten free for those who care

Cons: Salty, The Sicilian pesto pasta wasn't good

a nice change from pizza

a decent restaurant with clearly marked vegan and vegetarian options. it has a nice and traditionally italian vibe, most of the guests were locals which is always a good sign. we had caponata, panelle, and fried dough balls as starters which were very good, however the pistacchio risotto was not quite as expected. it was made with long grain rice and coconut milk and did not taste like an actual risotto at all which i was looking forward to so much. we went there on a tuesday night in early september and were lucky to get the last free table, so make sure to book in advance, even if there‘s only two of you. the entire restaurant is gluten free, including pizza and beer.

Pros: clearly marked options, pleasant atmosphere

Cons: food not as traditional as i had hoped

Amazing Sicilian cuisine

Cute place serving Sicilian cuisine. Everything on the menu is labeled and there are really good vegan options. I had the Misto Vegano which was a beautiful 10-piece taster and a chocolate dessert. They also run a pastry shop on the other side of town which I unfortunately did not have the time to try but I got a bonus vegan croissant to take away for breakfast :-)

Pros: Labeled menu, Friendly staff, Vegan dessert
