Delicious Indian Food

I'm a regular visitor here now and have ranked it as 5*. There's a good selection of food and everything is delicious. The sev puri are a particular highlight.

Original review below...

I had the vegan version of the aloo paratha and it was very good. A nice bit of chilli, perhaps a little bit under seasoned beyond that. The pickles provided did help to add a bit of extra taste. The pickle portion looks a bit small but they were happy to refill the pot for me.

The pakora plate was tasty. The potato ones were nice and thinly sliced with a good crisp coating. Lacking a little bit of flavour but when you got some of the dusting of chaat masala on top it was good. The onion pakoras were excellent and the seasoning was better in this.

This was a lot of food for one hungry person, it was a bit much for one person. On a separate visit I had the Pani Puri. These were very good but just lacked a little bit of crispy snap that would make them perfect. The fillings were very tasty.

The restaurant is a bit small with not a lot of seats, I've been a couple of times on Saturday day lunch times and there's been a good few spaces both times.

This is food I grew up with so I'll probably always find fault with something that doesn't come from my mother's kitchen.

Fresh breath of Indian cuisine

Small bistro serving authentic Indian street food. You won't find your average Indian curry or tikka masala here! Mostly vegetarian, but some dishes are vegan or can be veganized.

The portions are reasonably sized and you definitely feel full after the meal! I recommend vada pav if you are feeling snacky, or pav bhaji, dosa or paratha if you are feeling like having a proper meal.

The staff is nice and helpful. They guide you through the menu and even ask about your tolerance of spice (though personally I have found the dishes to be "pleasantly" spicy).

Fun vegan options

This is a small, friendly place with some good vegan options. The menu is available in English or Czech and vegan options are clearly marked.

I tried the pani puri, which were tasty and enjoyable, followed by the aloo paratha, which was a touch underseasoned for me and really relied on the pickle to bring some flavour. It's a shame there's no vegan yoghurt as an alternative to the dairy yoghurt.

The masala chai was really nice, but a 15 czk charge for oat milk feels quite steep.

In terms of accessibility, the front door is up a step from the street.

Very tasty small bistro

This small bistro offers many vegan options, and most other dishes can be made vegan. The food is super tasty and the staff is very friendly. They offer dishes you dont often find in Prague, such as masala dosa. Everything is freshly cooked

Pros: well priced, original dishes, Everything is home made and freshly cooked
