Nice late lunch - Edit
Happy to find restaurant open after arriving hungry into town. Nice flavors and selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. We enjoyed Indian menu but they also have Italian menu. Filing and tasty. Felt welcome and attentive staff.

There are few veg options for dinner in Sintra. We tried this place our second night (the other Indian place our first). The owner was very nice and helpful, and spoke perfect English. The food was very tasty and the prices reasonable. It was a nice friendly atmosphere.

Proper food, but nothing special. Didn’t try the Italian options, but the Indian options were good.

If you are hungry, this is a good place.

Good basic Indian food, average pizza without cheese - Edit
Sao Pedro de Penaferrim is an area in Sintra, just down from Palace of Pena. There are two Indian-Italian restaurants on the same street almost next to each other, Indian Palace and Pic Nic.
Read moreAt Indian Palace there was a waitress or owner who spoke very good English and they understood vegetarian food. We had lentil soup, fried rice (or was it biryani), dhal and a vegetarian pizza without cheese. The pizza what nothing special, but okay. Indian food was good.
