better than in Thong Sala - Edit
We’ve been to both locations, this one was prettier! We tried the hummus and falafel plate with some cold brew and it was indeed delicious!

Great breakfast spot - Edit
We just had breakfast here. Big portions. Great taste. Good and fast service. When we got there in the morning it was pretty quiet. Around 10:30 it started filling up. It’s totally a place you can sit all day to work and eat, or just hang out.
Read moreI wanted to give it 5 starts - based on what I saw today, the place is fully vegetarian with lots of vegan options.
Pros: Food and drinks, Atmosphere, Staff
Cons: Bit pricey but worth it!

Large portions, very tasty food and drinks. The food is beautifully presented and arrived quickly. The staff were very friendly. The price is rather expensive. The location was wonderful and clean.

High Price & Quality, Good Hangout - Edit
Be prepared to pay a lot, but the food, coffee and desserts are all awesome with significant vegan support.

Good coffee - tasty pastries - Edit
Reasonable vegan options and the coffee was very nice. Cute decorations in the bamboo coffee holders but a bit unnecessary and wasteful.

Vegan dishes are not vegan - Edit
I wanted to have the vegan bagette in the menu but they told me it's not vegan, only the name contains the word "vegan" but the dish is not vegan.
Read moreThey serve a non-vegan cookie with every coffee, vegan or non-vegan. Even when I asked to receive my coffee without a cookie, I received it with the non-vegan cookie. :-(

Amazing vegan options - Edit
Was reluctant to come here after some reviews made the found sound so-so but I loved it and the space is cozy and nice so I’d 100% go again. I had the almond milk overnight chia seed pudding and then the Napolitana ai Pomodoro (tomato) with Strozzapreti pasta which were both the best I’ve had. However the oat milk cappuccino wasn’t the best imo, it was very bitter. My veggie bf had a pesto/cheese panini with wedges which he enjoyed too.

Food is delicious but waiters don’t clean tables well. - Edit
Food is so tasty but waiters don’t clean tables well, many of them just talk to each other. Maybe that’s why they don’t see dirty dishes on the tables.

Huge cafe - many pastries and cakes - Edit
Lots of outdoor seating and two areas with AC. There is a large AC room upstairs which is a great place to work online. Whether you are meeting friends for a coffee and pastry or you want to base yourself for a few hours to be productive, Indigo is a good choice. I didn’t try the main courses so I cannot comment on that but the croissants are good and flaky. I came at 8 pm and they had some cakes heavily discounted in price which was a steal! The strawberry cheesecake was awesome 🥰

Okay. - Edit
The Fatima hand was gorgeous, but that may be more down to the presentation. The panini wasn't great. The bread is too hard with not enough filling. The cashew cheese was pretty solid rather than creamy. There could be more vegan options.

Best vegan burger on Koh Phangan! - Edit
Having tried the burgers at Friendship Concept, Eat.co, Orion and Big Mountain, my vote definitely goes to Indigo!
Read moreWe had the veganised “Le Parisien” burger with a Beyond patty and vegan cheese, and it was incredible. Really generous size. Heaps of caramelised onions and mango chutney plus lots of salad made it really moist and a perfect mix of flavours. Plus the charcoal bun - house made, fresh and fluffy!
Plus a really generous side salad too.
The place was totally empty so the food came super-fast too - hopefully more vegans discover this superb place!!

Over priced, poor quality and vegan options - Edit
Honestly, when I came to leave my review I was amazed to find this place even listed on HC. The bakery produce is really poor quality and there are very few vegan options. And it's really expensive.

Great Place for Working - Edit
A very nice, modern coffee shop which is great for doing work. They don't charge extra for soy milk and almond milk is only 10b extra. They have a range of nice coffees including speciality roasts from Chiang Mai. They have a range of nice vegan breads and now they do vegan bakes/cakes as well. Vegan dishes are also clearly marked although a little pricey. Has a second floor as well, note that there are no power outlets on the first floor but there are lots on the upper floor.

Good food, staff error caused an issue - Edit
*EDIT* Since receiving a response to my review, I have decided to add to it. I am happy that the owner took the time to inform me that the bread is vegan, so I know that I did not mistakenly eat any animal products. The food I ate at Indigo was very tasty. I had scrambled tofu twice. The 1st time with bread, the second time with potatoes (due to the misinformation about the bread). I also had coffee both times (with almond milk) and enjoyed that too. I have increased my star rating to 3 (without the misinformation about the bread I would have definately given 4 stars).
Read moreThe bread is not vegan! I wanted to buy some bread to take away, so I asked which ones were vegan. I was told that none of the bread is vegan. I ate scrambled tofu here recently, which is served with bread (as are a number of other dishes labelled as vegan). So I asked about that bread and was told that none of the bread is vegan, that it contains egg! So none of the vegan labelled items that include bread are actually vegan!

Great coffee, best potatoes! - Edit
This place has loads of good vegan options. The panini’s are delicious and full of flavour. The potatoes that come with the sandwiches are sooooo good and the vegan aioli is great. Coffee is decent, probs best we’ve had on the island. A range of plant mills available.
