i really liked the sauce and the fries were perfectly salted. meat wise, it was ok. they use pea protein and hand craft it themselves. i wish there was a fried coating for the chik’n. im happy though.

I ordered the Korean burger - very flavoursome and I loved the patty and sauces. The bun on the burger was also soft and fresh.
The combo came with a burger, either onion rings or potatoes, and a drink.
Another combo was also available.

Ordered as delivery, one Gangnam no-chicken burger and one hot dog. Both were delivered by a nice guy walking to our location! Everything was perfect! I would recommend if you are in the area, super nice people and tasty food.

I really love the atmosphere! The owner (the son mentioned in other reviews, I think) seemed a bit cold to me in the beginning, BUT turned out he’s actually really nice and funny! He even recommended other vegan restaurants for the rest of my stay in São Paulo. I found my sandwich I little bit too salty (but again, I feel this way at almost every place I’ve visited in Brazil so I believe it’s my problem not theirs.) There’s no English menu but he explained everything and patiently answered me and another English-speaking girl’s one million questions another the beverages (I really like the Brazilian ginger drink, see pic)

I'm not the biggest fan of fried food / junk food menus, but a few friends (non-vegans) and I stopped in to give it a go. They were delighted with their meals - fried nuggets, fried fish, onion rings, burgers, and not dogs. The menu mostly consist of fried food favorites, so if that's your thing, it's probably a great place for you.
Read moreI had the chicken salad which was fairly basic. The chicken was the most flavorful part, but otherwise simple salad ingredients. I also had the cheese dip, which I didn't enjoy. It comes with several different types of cheeses, and I can't say any of them are something I'd like to try again.
Overall, in a city filled with amazing vegan options, It's Vegan rates lower on my list.

Perfectly cooked, presented and as described this little restaurant oozes hospitality and charm with great food also. The owner Maira, her son and her chef are all wonderful, dedicated people, cooking with great humor and love. The founder of Happy Cow himself made it an important stop on his visit to Brasil so was a must go for us too.

We’d just arrived in São Paulo after a 10-hour flight with two ravenous kids under 5 who could only be appeased at that point by vegan nuggets and fries. It’s Vegan fit the bill perfectly on that front, and the experience for the adults with more discerning pallets was great as well.
Read moreDespite good reviews, we almost turned away due to the fact that we don’t speak ANY Portuguese and there wasn’t an English Menu. After a long day I just wanted an easy button (though it’s hard to get much easier than an all vegan restaurant). Thankfully we stay, the staff was friendly, funny and informative, and explained the menu in great detail.
We got two combos, a burger with fries and a sausage sandwich with nuggets. The food was good and the sausage sandwich in particular was outstanding. And with the two combos we were able to feed a family of 4. What more could you ask for.
São Paulo is a big city with lots of vegan options. While we will undoubtedly try others. There’s no question we’ll return to It’s Vegan.
Pros: Entirely vegan, Tasty food at good prices, Very accommodating to non Portuguese speakers

This place is in a great location near Rua Augusta, with a few tables to sit outside or inside. There's not a lot of movement on weekdays so we had to wait a bit for someone to come take our order since there was no one at the cashier when we arrived. I had a schnitzel sandwich and it was very good, but quite difficult to eat. It was falling apart and I made a mess, but the owner warned me about this so I was sort of prepared. The highlight for me was the dessert, they offer some pre-made sweets that are available in the fridge with the drinks. I had a pão de melado and it was absolutely delicious! Very small but each bite was a taste of heaven. Overall, I found the food expensive (since the sandwich was not that amazing and the pão de melado was super tiny), but it is worth a visit. The owner is really friendly and happy to talk to the customers.

I had the biggest thing on their menu, which with a side and a drink was 50, which counts as good value in São Paulo these days. Burger thing was great, but the onion rings were burnt to a frazzle - and whilst I refused his offer to make them again, as the only customer in the place it shouldn't be hard to get that right.
