Nice bar - Edit
This is a nice vegan bar for cocktails in specific, as well as vegan versions of bar food (tacos y empanadas). They have a nice backyard, inside, and storefront seating. I wouldn't recommend their natural wine selection though. I ordered a glass and it was quite old and not a new bottle.

Cons: Food depends upon availability, Natural wine here is not good

Come for the vibes - Edit
As of July 2021 on Sunday evenings there is a group of musicians hosting a jam at Izzy and they are great.
Read moreMy friends and I went for some drinks and it was an overall good experience. They offer vegan empanadas which are actually from Guevara's only 2 streets over.
Pros: A drink spot with some vegan options , Live music! , Outdoor patio

Cute ambiance, cocktails could be better for being $14 - Edit
Cozy vegan cocktail bar!
Read moreI'm gonna partially agree and partially disagree with the previous reviewer. I do think the cocktails could be better. We had both seasonal drinks and the spiced butter one just didn't work that well, it was also kinda watery. The other seasonal warm drink was tasty though!
I don't think the food is as good as Jajaja for vegan Mexican. We had the nachos at Izzy Rose and they weren't well layered, so there was just a ton of stuff and then mostly naked chips (tortilla chips were fantastic tho). Also could have used more fresh things on top. I guess they want you to pay for one of the add ons, maybe would have been better with the tempeh or chimichurri. But I think the dish should be able to stand well on its own. Also the guacamole was miniscule, barely a handful for $9.
All in all, it's a nice cozy spot in the neighborhood, so we'll probably be back for happy hour or even during the day for their breakfast menu. But they can definitely improve on a few points.
Pros: Super cozy nice atmosphere, Great staff
Cons: Ok cocktails, Food was decent but could still be improved

Food is great, the cocktails can be better - Edit
The menu is mexican, the tacos are absolutely delicious. For those who know the vegan scene in Ny I would say its better than jajaja. The ambiance is just amazing as well, nicely decorated and had the cutest patio.
