Indian Street Food, a little slow as just about everything is made fresh

Ask a born and bought up Bombay-ite Mumbai-kar what they need for a snack or a light meal, most likely the response would be a Vada Pav. Having visited this plaza a few times, but finally went there to see if it satisfies Vada Pav craving.

Many versions of Vada Pav on the menu, but we are a traditionalist and a vegan. So we settled for a dry Vada Pav as we have always had it (no butter or cheese or any other trendy toppings).

Many Gujarati run restaurants in GTA and this is perhaps one of them as well. And so the Vada has some Gujarati taste flavours to it. The bad a was freshly fried to order. The bread not the same as Mumbai Pav, tasted more like a hamburger bun. The red garlic chutney was good. The two packets of chutneys provided were a complete let down. Avoid taking them or do not put them as toppings.

Wish there were clearly marked vegan options. Staff who attended us were not aware of what vegan meant. The price high for one Vada Pav ($5 taxes). The size was OK and the ratio of Pav with Vada was perfect.

Pros: Promising menu, Very clean interior

Cons: Not clearly marked vegan options , Staff being trained for vegan items
