don’t delay - Edit
I ordered takeaway for dinner tonight and had to write a review ASAP! I’ve been living nearby since May and had my eye on Juanita’s menu for a while but not sure why I hesitated to order! Lots of vegan options for tasty Mexican inspired dishes made fresh with care and quality ingredients. I ordered nachos which start at $13.50 for standard corn chips, “cheesy” bean creme, enchilada sauce and pico de gallo. Then you can build them up with added extras. I chose refried beans, avo mash, jackfruit, and jalapeños which brought my order up to $23. Expensive for nachos, I guess, but it was a huge, satisfying, pretty balanced meal for that. And the flavours are still dancing on my tongue hours later. I also bought a jar of their nut based vegan chorizo for cooking at home. Will definitely be ordering again and trying more of their house made condiments.

Absolutely phenomenal. - Edit
We had the vegan brekky bake and vegan quesadillas (there are three different varieties of vegan quesadillas) and all of it was utterly divine. Juanita's makes its own vegan chorizo and vegan cheese which is absolutely to die for. There's also their house made sauces, including the mind blowing salsa picante and smoky barbecue sauce. I wasn't as wowed by the desserts but the savoury stuff was up there with some of the best meals I've ever had!

great range for vegans - Edit
A nice small place with a lot of choice for vegans. We had breakfast and it was all tasty. Just not a fan of using coconut products in cheese replacements though.

Diverse range for everyone - Edit
We visited this restaurant at lunchtime on a weekend and it was pretty busy. Obviously a local gem, with a number of regulars in at the time. It's a homely setting, with preserves and take home produce on display (for take home purchases).
Read moreThere is a large range of options on the menu- with some mexican inspired options, and then other options such as curry. I advised that I was vegan and they were excited to accomodate for me with vegan cheese and their own homemade sauces.
It's friendly, service is great and food is inspired and obviously made with love.
Pros: Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, Take home vegan options
