The Fried Tofu bites are DELICIOUS.
Read moreI also ordered the Flat Rice Noodles that aren't for my personal tastebuds, but it was cooked perfectly. I would go ago to try all the other delicious things the full venue was eating around me.

Just amazing. - Edit
Low key Asian eatery with amazing food, generous portions...and it's very inexpensive. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

“Just”-ice for the animals and planet - Edit
Expectations massively exceeded!! Was not expecting this place to be so good as it so cheap.
Read moreBest wonton soup I’ve ever had!! Wonton soups are normally pretty boring but not this one! Flavourful broth lots of veggies, tofu skin, tofu, pork , noodles and the most flavourful wontons I’ve ever had!
Mushroom drumsticks are a must! Very chickeny with a creamy dipping sauce. I liked how they were mushrooms and not mock meat.
Would definetly return. A new fave!

Just delicious - Edit
If I had realised how close this place was to a train station, I would have visited much earlier. (short walk from Sunshine station, also lots of buses). I wasn’t sure of the process so I stood at the counter and the woman said if I was eating in to take a seat. She took my order quickly and brought out tea.
Read moreThe service was very fast. I ordered the mushroom drumsticks as an entree and the hokkein stir fry noodles. The mushroom drumsticks are one of the nicest things I’ve eaten. It came with a tasty sauce. The noodle stir fry was good too. I particularly liked the way the tofu was cooked. It got busier and as is taken up a table for 4, I asked people if they wanted to share the table they were welcome.
I paid at the end and she was nice. Great value and tasty food.

I love this place. Because it’s small it does get crowded and is quite popular at Saturday lunchtime but I have more than once had people willing to share their table with me, so there’s a lovely friendly vibe.

Mostly delicious, and super cheap but terrible service - Edit
I don't feel good the last few times I've come here, the service is terrible, the last time I went I asked for a table, the woman there doesn't even say anything, and then someone else comes up to settle their bill without a glance at me. Sigh.

Love coming here for a quick, delicious, cheap meal. My favourites so far are:
- com tam (broken rice): all components delish
- bi cuon (shredded tofu rice paper roll): delish
- Bun Hue (Hue rice noodle soup): delish lemongrass flavoured broth, great crispy tofu skin, very fresh cabbage, bean sprouts
- mi xao men (stir fry yellow noodles): really delish noodles, v.subtle but nice sauce
- mi hokkien xao (stir fry hokkien noodles): delish veg+tofu, +unknown but good sauce
- tofu custard: beautiful silky texture, but hardly any sauce (thought it would have the sweet ginger sauce)
- pho: mainly star anise flavour, not complex

Not *just* vegan - Edit
I’m really impressed and pleased at how popular JV has become. At lunchtime on a Saturday there is a queue outside and last week we had to wait half an hour for a table, and twice we ended up sharing tables with other parties. The food is remarkably cheap, to the point I was almost embarrassed to be paying so little. As this has become a regular spot for me after Saturday morning classes I will be making a point of tipping. The food I have tried is almost universally good, particularly the broken rice, delicious and substantial. The fried wontons were crispy and tasty. The bun Hué was also tasty and not too spicy. I was less impressed with the slightly rubbery texture of the chicken in the Hainam rice, but the dish was still fairly nice, particularly at the super low prices. The space is a bit tight, and you can’t be in a hurry if you’re here at lunchtime. Service comes with a smile.

Simple, delicious and cheap ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We came here for a late lunch. It’s a no-frills set up with a small menu but prices are so low and servings not at all stingy. The mushroom drumsticks ($7) were the delectable highlight for me with their savoury flavour and side of home-made mayonnaise. The spring rolls ($7) and crispy noodles ($10) were good but just what you’d expect. The broken rice dish($12) was tasty with its battered vegan egg being a point of interest. Each dish came with a different sauce, so it wasn’t samey. The value for money is enough to bring us back here again.
Pros: Delicious food, Super cheap , Friendly service
Cons: A wait for a seat because it’s popular, A bit tight because it’s popular

Been ordering from this place for years and consistently has the best asian vegan noodle soups in Melbourne. Top picks: Wonton Noodle Soup 10/10. Hue Rice Noodles 9.5/10. Broken Rice 9/10. Rice paper rolls 7.5/10. Those first 2 noodle soups will blow your mind.

Reviews do it justice! - Edit
Always looking for vegan places to eat on this side of town (they are a bit scant). So, thanks to Happy Cow and previous reviewers, we were led to this welcoming and casual little eatery. On this visit, we each tried a big bowl of noodle soup. Now we know Just Vegan exists, we will be back many times to eat our way through the menu.

Almost every table was full (always a good sign!!) with constant takeaway orders! And so the food was fresh and hot!
Read moreLovely to be met with a Thermos of hot tea on sitting down, the wantons were hot and crispy and not oily.
The fried rice is incredible! (I'd forgotten how good fried rice can be since going vegan) and the mushroom drumsticks were amazing.
Braised veggies were delicious in an almost sweet sauce - with chilies on the side (thank you! we don't like spicy food).
And all for $16 ea.

The food was amazing and so tasty! I got the spring rolls and the fried rice and mushroom drumsticks. The spring rolls were crispy, fresh and really tasty. The fried rice was amazing, the fake bacon/ham pieces in it had such an amazing taste and texture. The mushroom drumsticks were unlike anything I've ever tried before. They were crispy and tasty, will definitely be ordering them again

Being a non-vegetarian, I can’t imagine my life without meat but seriously when I tried it I didn’t even think for a second that this doesn’t contain any meat😊.
I visited their Marina walk branch , they serve Burger, pizza , pasta , desserts that are all plant based. .

I was so happy with this restaurant experience, @chef_suresh_baabu is such a great chef who was there all the time explaining every dish ingredients. He served me , Roasted mushrooms soup, cheesy garlic bites, lasagna, burger , spring rolls and peanut butter tart dessert all plant based...Everything was cooked very professionally, I love the location as well just in front of the Marina walk , yacht were passing by while you can enjoy delicious food...
