Didn’t get any food. - Edit
Arrived at 12:30. One table outside of four and one table inside who already eaten and empty plates. Sat down and ordered 2 vegan meals, nearly an hour later and no food but chef was flying out breakfast and burgers to new tables. Ticket not lost, he was just doing things he could and putting us on the back burner.
Read moreCancelled our order at 54 minutes and went away very sad. Still got charged for the two soft drinks and didn’t get an apology when went to the till.
Person on till kept saying “well the chef is on his own” my main response was “we were the 2nd table in, you would assume we would be the second table who gets their food”
Sorry Kahve bar. Won’t be back to even try your food.

A tucked away gem - Edit
Kahve is in central Abergavenny but off the main shopping street and I have overlooked it in the past. I only considered it because I read the previous reviews here. I was slightly put off going in as you can not see into the cafe from outside. However once in, we were warmly welcomed. There were a few good choices of vegan and veggie options. I had a bit of a mezze with some great falafel whilst my partner opted for an artichoke and vegan cheese flatbread sandwich. We were both very happy with our choices.

Great place for a party - Edit
I organised a surprise birthday party here. Of the 18 guests, 6 were vegetarian. Bulent and his team provided an amazing buffet for us all to enjoy, of which about 90% of the food was vegetarian (and gluten free). The staff were great. We also enjoyed the very stylish and informal atmosphere of restaurant, both inside and outside.

Amazingly authentic food. One of the best falafel I've ever tasted. Wouldn't mind more variety of options though!
