Over priced and average - Edit
Probably the most disappointing meal I've had in Wellington. Really loved the traditional Maori vibe of the place, servers were lovely and super helpful, but the food was awful. Could have made something better at home.

This café has over 1,000 reviews on Google with an average rating of 4.3/5. Your review is incredibly harsh considering it's 50% of the reviews on here and you only dined once. I imagine the super low HappyCow rating due to your review has turned a lot of people off. Myself included until now. I'll be trying this place out and leaving a review to hopefully balance out the rating and encourage more people to support Māori establishments.

Great location, good relaxing spot - Edit
Good for having a drink with friends, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun in the late arvo. I've only tried the apple juice which was great, but the location is really wonderful!
