Great vegan options

I had the almond croissant and latte. The croissant was warmed but might have been a bit stale today as it was very chewy. Will come back and try some other offerings.

Great selection

Amazing choice! The almond croissant was huge and so lovely, also really recommend the blueberry bakewell slice. The matcha was lovely too and all really affordable (it cost about £14 for two iced matchas and two pastries and the bakewell was around £3).

Pros: Great selection, Not too expensive

Great food from a small cafe

From the outside this just looks like a coffee shop and you might wander past. But they offer a good selection of vegan options including an amazing ‘Falafel Wrap’ (one of the best I’ve ever had), vegan breakfast, vegan cakes and pastries.

Pros: Great atmosphere with personal service, Great food, Good coffee

Cons: Slow service at times, Smal place so not everything is available

Worth the Journey

We went to Kave for breakfast and immediately loved how small, cozy, and nicely designed the café is. Everything is clearly labeled, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The matcha and coffee were both good. I was especially happy to find a vegan croissant, since that’s still surprisingly rare in many cafés. It wasn’t the best croissant I’ve ever had, but I still really appreciated having the option and enjoyed it.
I absolutely love that almost everything on the menu can be made vegan, which results in a huge selection and makes choosing quite difficult (in the best way). We also ordered the Chick’n Tikka Masala toastie—and wow. The toastie was incredibly delicious. I couldn’t quite imagine the combination beforehand, but it worked perfectly: well-seasoned (but not spicy for me) chick’n, cheese, herbs, all on sourdough bread. My companion loved it just as much.
I would have loved to try something else like a waffle, but I was already so full that it just wasn’t possible. Since it was quite a trip for us, we only went once but I’d definitely come back if I get the chance.

Nice breakfast

Had the vegan English breakfast, which was good overall, albeit the hash browns were a bit soggy.

Friendly service, and some of the vegan pastry looked worth trying another time.

Frequently serves dairy to vegans

They do not say how much you’ll pay or offer a receipt, the counter is very high so you won’t know the total until it’s gone from your account.

If they get your order wrong, and they do that frequently, you will have to get your money back via your bank as they will not try to make this right.

The food portions are small, toasties in particular, are very overpriced. I’d recommend going to nearby Costa instead.

Great place to grab lunch

The almond croissants was delicious (but on the sweeter side). I also had a toastie that was really good. Would reccomend as a place to stop for lunch.

Delicious

The place is so beautifully decorated and cozy! The menu is limited but everything looked absolutely delicious! We came for breakfast, I ordered the vegan breakfast! It came with hummus, baked beans, sausages, bacon, sourdough, and hash browns! The hummus was nice and creamy, the sausages were so tasty, but the hash browns weren’t perfect. My sister ordered a vegan ham and cheese croissant that she absolutely loved!

Pros: Cozy, Welcoming

Gluten free toasties

They had nice gluten free toasties. I got one with avocado, tomato, seed mix and bits of red pepper. It was a nice breakfast after landing early at Heathrow. It's also nice that they have outdoor seating. They open early as well.

Pros: Gluten free bread, Outdoor seating, Open early

Cons: Don't answer the phone, Menu doesn't say anything about gluten free, No website

Nice spot

Came for a bite before a gig round the corner. Good list of toasties (made vegan on request) with some sweet stuff too at reasonable prices. Really nice place though with a relaxed atmosphere. I’ll have a better toastie but I’m not gonna dock the place any points for that

Pros: Reasonably priced, Nice atmosphere

Kave

Get here early if you want vegan pastries. I arrived at 2PM on a Saturday and they were out of many things, so I got a vegan rocky road, which I did not enjoy. The Hammersmith location was bigger and cuter than this one.

Nice breakfast

Had the vegan breakfast. It was very nice but had a side salad, something that doesn't belong anywhere near a breakfast plate! Good value for money for the area

Pros: Nice food, Great value , Friendly staff

Cons: Bit of a wait for food, Salad on a breakfast - why???

The seating is limited, the space is actually okay large, but the place seems to be pretty popular.

Very mid

Coffees aren’t very good and the pastries are ok but nothing special. Not worth going out of your way to visit.

Light lunch bite

Intimate setting, pleasant staff, good selection of food. Everything is vegetarian and they say can be made vegan...also good vegan food too. I personally wasn't over keen on the vegan chick n burger though the chickpea salad was delicious

Pros: All items are vegetarian and all can be made vegan

Cons: Very close setting of tables

Go to the other Kave!

Went to both Kave cafes the other one wins on all marks! Staff were rude in this one, not listening to what we said they were wearing AirPods which is probably why. Service was slow when the cafe wasn’t busy at all. When the food came out one order was wrong and the other one wasn’t nice. When we politely mentioned the order was wrong the server simply said it was our fault and nothing else. We then asked it to be taken away as we didn’t want dairy on our table. The server decided to bring it back over to us in a takeaway box…. We didn’t ask for.

Just amazing!

I stayed in a hotel near this cafe and am so glad I discovered it! Yesterday lunch I had the hotdog with avocado which was delicious. As I was seeing a concert in the evening (the cafe is round the corner from the O2 Shepherd's Bush!) I bought a filled bread roll and a pistachio creme cookie to eat after the show. And Oh My God... That was the absolute most delicious biscuit I have ever had in my entire life! Today I went for breakfast which was delicious and got myself a filled croissant for the train journey back plus three more pistachio cookies. Guys, you need to try those biscuits. They are mind blowing!
I love that you can have a sit in meal but also lovely options for take out snacks if you are a tourist on the go.
Staff were really lovely and polite. Highly recommended!

Great ham and cheese

Lovely little cafe, cheap for the area my big filled croissant was £3.90 and meals are 7-9 the croissant was warmed up and coffee good. Seem to use pre made ‘meat’ the ham is quorn which I love fully veggie and everything can be vegan. Will be back to try other bits

Pros: Cheap , Friendly , Cute space

Good Vegan Breakfast

Good Vegan Breakfast and coffee. Although the Happy Cow app says this is a vegetarian cafe, the menu says "our whole menu is vegan and halal," so us vegans have plenty of choice. Yay! 🌱

The owner is a very sweet guy, they recently opened in Hammersmith too!
