Very good Pierogi - Edit
I tried the Sauerkraut Pierogi and vegan special of the day (white bean filling). Both tasted really good, the special one had a really umami taste and reminded me of bacon (all vegan tho!). Will definitely come back 🙌🏻

We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed our Pierogi! Creating rich, layered flavors in our vegan options is something we’re passionate about, so it’s great to know the umami notes came through. We look forward to having you back to try more! Thanks again for the kind words!

Amazing pierogi! - Edit
Two choices of pierogi— the sauerkraut and a special vegan mincemeat. All really good. Served with a vegan sour cream. I just wish they had 1 more vegan option.

We’re glad you enjoyed the pierogi. Our daily menu changes, and sometimes we do offer up to three vegan options, so we hope you’ll visit us again to try them! We’re always working to improve, and your suggestion is much appreciated. We’re also happy to hear you had a great experience with our staff!

Lovely place with small-batch pierogi prepared in front of us - Edit
They had buckwheat and black lentil pierogis of the day in addition to the regulars. Tried the Buckwheat, Kemuri Classic, and Borscht and everything was perfect.

Amazing polish food! - Edit
We ended up going here twice during our trip because the food was lovely and the staff were amazing. Everything we tasted was delicious (including the soft drinks). The staff offered to mix dumplings with different fillings on one plate when we had a hard time choosing.

Unique vegan pierogis - Edit
I loved having vegan pierogis because they’re so hard to find unless I make them myself. I wish they had a vegan classic version though.

Delicious Vegan Dumplings (and vegetarian) - Edit
Very small home-y place with only one lady taking orders and cooking everything on the spot. They have 2 vegetarian options and 1 vegan that are the standard in addition to 1 vegetarian and 1 vegan option that they change daily. I’m vegetarian and my husband is vegan so we ordered both. I honestly thought the vegan options were better!

They also have coffee and some pastries available.

Dumpling Fever - Edit
Delectable dumplings with great vegan options! My only problem with this place is that I wish I could eat 3x more than what they served. 😂 Filling was sour cabbage/ mushroom and the daily special vegan option was black lentils. Both were incredible. They even serve with vegan yogurt if you ask!

Very filling vegan dumplings - Edit
Small but friendly space with at least a couple of vegan dumpling options (three when I was in). You can order 7/10/12 but you can half and half fillings if you want as well which is good. I had smoked tofu, then also sauerkraut, mushroom and plum. Both really nice and filling. Also tried the vegan cheesecake which was good. Good wee spot to grab some food.

Vegan Pierogis - Edit
Cute, quaint little place to enjoy some amazing vegan pierogis!! Both options were amazing: pierogi of the day was smoked tofu, and wild mushroom with sauerkraut. With vegan yogurt on the side. With also vegan soup options. MUST STOP while visiting Reykjavík.

Great vegan pierogis - Edit
Hip vegetarian pierogi cafe. The night I visited for dinner, it had one type of vegetarian dumplings and one type of dumplings on the regular menu, and both types of dumplings on the specials menu were vegan. I had the sauerkraut dumplings (regular menu), tofu and potato dumplings and vegan meat dumplings. Everything was delicious!

Best dumplings in Iceland - Edit
Kemuri is now one of my favourite places here in Iceland (I live here), can’t recommend it more, the guy working was so nice and was so passionate about the food and sodas which were from Poland too.

A serendipitous find in Reykjavík - Edit
Stumbled upon this shop selling handmade polish dumplings. Mostly vegan options. Ate one dish and then immediately ordered a second. Some of the best dumplings I’ve ever had and I eat a LOT of them.
