This is an elegant restaurant with absolutely stunning food - Everything we had was delicious, couldn’t recommend it enough!
Read moreThe staff were also exceptionally helpful, friendly and kind, - advising on the menu when we asked and explaining each dish! While potentially pricy for Penang, you get what you paid for and our meal (for two with starters, sides and drinks) still came to around £20 - so by UK standards it is extraordinary value!!

The plates are locally inspired dishes. We chose multiple small plates. The staff is very helpful and can explain the dishes and their backgrounds. Very nice experience and all vegan.

An unforgettable experience at Restaurant Kommune in Penang! The Massaman Curry and Lo Pak Gou were a true taste explosion. The dishes conveyed a sense of fine dining. It’s a bit on the pricey side but definitely worth it.
