Really lovely Portuguese food - Edit
A great find for us not far from the main train station and near the river front.
Read moreIt's only a small restaurant but really nicely set out and atmosphere.
Food was all vegan and what was really special was that most dishes were vegan versions of traditional Portuguese dishes - the only restaurant we found doing this - and the experience was great. The desserts were a treat too
Prices were good too - we had 2 mains, 2 desserts, 2 fruit juices and 2 coffees for around 30 Euros - good value we thought.
Staff were also really welcoming and helpful - nice attitudes.
Would highly recommend a visit - we are going back for sure before we leave Lisbon.
Pros: Portuguese food options, Food taste & presentation, atmosphere & staff
Cons: None

Interesting Food - Edit
Das Restaurant hat ein sehr schönes Ambiente und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Gerichte sind sehr interessant und an die Originale angelehnt. Wobei ich persönlich kein Fan der Portugiesischen Küche bin.

The best one! - Edit
This was one of the best vegan restaurants I've ever been! The food was delicious and not an imitation of non-vegan food, which was really nice! Totally new dishes and sooo amazing! I highly recommend!

Amazing alternatives in a nice spot - Edit
The atmosphere was cool, the service was good, and the food was excellent. The produce was top notch and the meat alternatives were spot on. I can remember the name of what I ate but it was a vegan take on an authentic Portuguese dish... Fabulous. The Nutella dessert was a major highlight for my date.

Nice experience - Edit
As Australian tourists we wanted to try some veganised Protugla cuisine and Kong is exactly what we were looking for
Read moreWe got the octopus salad, cheese sandwich and steak and eggs.
The octopus salad was really delicious and fresh. The "octopus" was made of mushroom and the bread was really good. It was like a Portuguese brucetta
The cheese sandwich was really interesting, it was good but I probably wouldn't get it again, probably moreso because the dish itself wasn't quite to my taste
We really liked the steak and egg, the texture of the seitan steak was really good and loved the creativity of the egg
The restaurant itself is also really nice and the staff were friendly. The chef even came out himself to speak to us to ensure we were happy with the meal
Definitely recommend eating here for the Portuguese experience

Maybe we ordered the wrong dish. - Edit
We were so excited to try this place and loved everything about it as soon as we arrived. The decor and the service was lovely. We decided to order the Francesinha as neither of us had tried it before. Overall I would say it was pretty tasty but the onions were more lightly fried rather than caramelised and the kong sauce it came with tasted just like Heinz tomato soup, don’t get me wrong I love Heinz soup when I’m feeling a bit under the weather but I wasn’t particularly feeling it today on a warm afternoon in Lisbon. It’s a shame as the rest of the menu looked great but we just couldn’t stomach anything else. I would’ve loved to return and try more bits on the menu.

The best mango lassie around. Just love the vegan takes on traditional Portuguese cuisine. Been here several times and just keep going back. New location is bigger with seating primarily upstairs.

Creative, though not as tasty as it looked - Edit
Nice restaurant, friendly staff, interesting menu. The starter Horgan cheese and fruit salad was delicious). The main Happy ‘octopus’ looked fabulous was was a bit lacking in flavour with very chewy cabbage. They were good at understanding and having gluten free options.

We had the salmon style tofu and the seitan steak with a vegan egg and mustard sauce. The seitan and vegan egg were super tasty. The tofu had a nice fishy taste. We really enjoyed. We had a Nutella cake for dessert and it was pretty good.
