The best place in Lisbon - Edit
Absolutely loved it here. The steak, egg and chips was my favourite meal in Lisbon. The croquettes were super tasty and flavoured with smoked paprika. The steak and egg was covered in a very mustardy sauce that was delicious. Highly recommend going here.

The service was amazing. Waiters were very very busy but super kind nonetheless.
If you want to visit this place on Saturday I recommend you get a reservation as it gets super crowded. Go vegans! ❤️

Local vegan food, great staff & ambient - Edit
We had no reservation, but staff helped is get a table. Food was amazing ( had Francezcana and some bean dish), it was hard to believe it's plant-based. Worth the money, if you like good food!

Soup of the day (Red Beans) was delicious and very fast delivered.

Snickers tart was not too sweet and was very similar to the original.
Lemonade with wild berries was a tasty accompaniment to the meal.
Nice polite service. WC available.

What a great experience! We had Croquettes, Skewers for a starter and Bitoque and Francesinha for a main dish. Cheesecake as dessert. Everything was an experience itself, we liked the both starters most. The homemade Cocktail sauce was amazing and the skewers as well. I really liked that they are working with mushrooms and am very happy, that there is a vegan interpretation of Portuguese food. In the end we tried the vegan cheesecake which is an absolute must-try especially because it was uncommonly without soy!!

Read moreEn plat principal le bitoque est incroyable ! Le seitan grillé avec son "œuf" et sa sauce est à se damner. Il est juste dommage que le plat soit présenté en 2 assiettes : l'une avec le seitan grillé et sa sauce (délicieux et recherché) mais la deuxième assiette est plutôt banale (salade verte, riz, frites). Il serait plus agréable de servir le tout ensemble dans une assiette pour avoir un plat visuellement plus réussi.
L'octopus salad était bonne, les saveurs bien mariées entre elles mais les feuilles de chou servies ce soir là dans mon plat étaient trop dures pour être agréables à mâcher.
En dessert la tarte de nata avec sa boule de glace façon cookie dough était un vrai régal.
EN RÉSUMÉ les portions sont amplement suffisantes, les plats savoureux et le personnel très agréable. J'y retournerai avec grand plaisir !

Then I had the happy octopus which was so good.
For dessert I struggled to pick from all the delicious options but went for the cheesecake which was exquisite.
I also had the passion fruit mojito which was really good.
Will definitely come back if I get the chance.

Simple and good but not special - Edit
I had the dish of the day: rice with salad and chickpea curry. The curry was excellent, but the salad had no dressing and the rice was not well cooked. I also had a virgin mojito, not worth it (mainly ice cubes). There isn't any effort made on the decoration/presentation of the plate. The place is nice though and the staff friendly. I expected much better according to the dithyrambic reviews, so i will go again to try another dish, hoping for something more interesting.
