A regular supermarket but with lots of vegan food, such as Violife vegan cheeses, sausages and vegan slices Veggyness. Also carries vegan chips, wholesome pots from the Food Doctor, and more. Store is close to the big church. Open Mon-Fri 8:00am-11:30pm, Sat-Sun 10:00am-11:30pm.

Barely anything - Edit
They had a few vegan cheeses and some oatmilk. that’s it. The store as a whole was pretty small though. The produce was okay but expensive

Some vegan items - Edit
Close to the church, it offers some vegan items like oat milk, icelandic bread, snacks. Beside the usual Violife line.

Krabud - Edit
This is not a place I would recommend anyone go out of their way for to buy vegan items. I only saw vegan chicken dishes in the freezer section and not much else. There were other stores with a better vegan selection during my trip. If the store is near you, great, but if it is not, I would not recommend it.

Hardly worth it - Edit
Really small convenience shop; ok for a quick top up on some things, the vegan selection is very small but has things you can rarely find anywhere else in Reykjavik (as far as I know), but I don't find it worth the trip.
Read moreMany shelves empty.
Pros: Conveniently located, Nice, though small, vegan item selection
Cons: Very small, Not much, many empty shelves

Good options - Edit
They have some Violife and fake meat to choose from (like 5 kinds of cheese, 4 kinds of meat). Nut butters, bars, Bear Fruit loops, bread, salad and other stuff are available and enough to build a meal (so you don’t have to buy that one tiny vegan sandwich or wrap for 800 ISK even though they’re good too).
Read morePros: enough options for vegans/vegetarians, said options are even yummy, BEAR FRUIT LOOPS
Cons: pricey but what did you expect?

Best supermarket within downtown - Edit
They have a notable range of vegan products, such as cheese and fake meats, plant milks. From what I know the only supermarket in the city center that provides such comaratively many options. (There is also Hagkaup with even better rangs, yet, there is no branch within downtown.)

Handy shop with some vegan produce - Edit
I've been staying just around the corner from Krambud during my time in Reykjavik and have been pleased to be able to buy Violife vegan cheese and veggie slices as well as some produce and other snacks. It has a decent range although so far they've always been out of plant milk every time I've been in, and I haven't seen any vegan margarine in there which would have been helpful. They are open late at night after most other shops seem to have shut which is a big bonus.

Best place to shop in town - Edit
Definitely the best supermarket for vegans/vegetarians in Reykjavik. Not the biggest shop but a good selection of veggie/vegan options. If you are staying in self catering this place will save you.
