Best Indian food in town

There are some good Indian restaurants in Utrecht but this is our favourite. We've been a handful of times now. Definitely try the filled dosa and gobi manchurian! Friendly staff as well.

Pros: Many vegan options

Cons: careful, traditional Indian coffee has milk

So many options!

We shared 2 currys and spiced potatoes and my god, they were all so good! (Especially the potatoes!). The staff knew very well what was vegan (also labeled on the menu) and their recommendations tasted amazing (so ask away!).
As an appetizer we shared something like cauliflower wings (I forgot the name, I'm sorry), crazy tasty!
The interior isn't the cosiest ever, but to me that's secondary to good food.

Pros: Crazy amount of vegan options, Super nice staff, Quick service

Cons: Not super nicely decorated..., Bad acoustics

Flavourful food

We ordered food for delivery, so I can't say much about the location and atmosphere of this place, but the food was on point!

It was easy to order all-vegan since their menu items are so clearly marked. All dishes we ordered were great, my personal favorite was the bhindi do pyaaz, which was super flavorful and creamy.

Pros: Very clearly marked vegan options

Nice!

We had dinner here. The idli, vada and bisi bele bath were really good. The Mysore masala dosa was nice as well, but we think the one at the The Hague restaurant of Krishna Vilas is much better.

Pros: Authentic South Indian food, Affordable

Authentic and tasty

Fully vegetarian south indian cuisine.
Some dishes are vegan. My comfort food heaven.
Lovely dosas and thali.

Delicious Indian food

Not all vegan, but the food is very flavourful. The chana masala and dosa's are very good.

Disappointing

A busy place with poor acoustics.
I had a vegetable Curry, which was basically a bowl of onion gravy with a handful of peas and carrot. The taste wasn't really bad, but it was uninspiring.
My wife's food arrived just after I finished mine.

Pros: Not expensive
