We ordered the yucca bread with date mousse (excellent) and a vegan pizza. The pizza was tasty but the crust was incredibly thin and all vegan pizzas were charged an extra €1, so for €12 in an already pricey restaurant, it was quite overpriced for what it was. It was also hard to pick up because it was so thin. It is very much a vegetarian restaurant given cheese is in almost every dish although some dishes can be made vegan for an additional charge.

Love the vegan food here! The food is elegant and creative and delicious. The falafel appetizer is so special. The pizza, ravioli, and lasagne also stood out, but there was nothing we didn't like. The interior is very cozy and has nice ambiance. It gets very busy on weekends, so best to reserve then. We have ordered the Oh Mami pizza vegana to go, and it is soooo good. Make sure to specify that you want your items vegan, since they also offer vegetarian versions.

We came here for a quick lunch on our last afternoon in Valencia, and were all really impressed by the friendly service, lovely atmosphere and of course, the food. There was a good selection of delicious pizzas, which were customisable right down to the base. We were easily able to swap dairy cheese for vegan cheese on one of the vegetarian pizzas. The lasagnas offered an inventive take on the Italian classic, and although the portions were on the small side, they were enjoyed by all.

My favourite Valencia restaurant - Edit
I've eaten several times at Casa Viva and every dish is delicious. Today the restaurant was packed, with only one person serving, but service was efficient and friendly as always. We shared three dishes, a quinoa salad with so many ingredients it was total nutrition in itself; the fabulous stuffed cabbage rolls, and an active carbon base pizza. It's vegan heaven as all the veggie dishes can be made fully plant-based. I'm looking forward to our next visit, as I intend to work my way through the menu!

Fuimos el otro día con una amiga por primera vez, y la verdad es que ha superado nuestras expectativas!! Los chicos que nos atendieron eran súper majos, estaban pendientes todo el tiempo y nos recomendaban distintas cosas. Me pedí la lasaña macrovegana y estaba realmente deliciosa! Ella se pidió el plato de sarmale que son hojas de col fermentada envueltas en arroz y bañadas en salsa de tomate estaban muy buenas también. Los precios rondan entre los 5-14€ dependiendo del plato. La decoración del sitio era modo otoño, y es bastante amplio el espacio, contando y el baño. Volveremos sin duda os lo recomiendo 100% si os gusta la comida vegana/vegetariana (se pueden veganizar algunas cosas que no lo son).

First of all, it’s got a hip vibe and a cool atmosphere for lunch or evening dining. So many places have the decorations out of a hospital cafeteria, but not this place. Totally hip. But besides that, the salads are savory and huge, and the pizza is the best I’ve had around the world. It’s not totally processed cheese but some kind of in between, I think potato and oil based. Basically I didn’t feel sick or that I wanted to throw up after eating the pizza, which happens a lot to me with the hyper processed cheeses. Servers are fun and engaging. We ate twice and each time was amazing. They don’t serve any meat or eggs, just dairy cheese. Having said that, that’s why I think they should just ditch the dairy cheese and go for total Vegan, since all of the items have a vegan options with the vegan cheese. I wish they would just go for it! This way we can give them five stars, which they deserve😄. They would probably do more business given the trend.

Family run eaterie in a delightful setting. The décor consists of upcycled furniture and environmentally friendly materials throughout. Spacious and with plenty of natural light, you feel instantly welcome and relaxed.

Plenty of vegan options and a well crafted menu that impressed my carnist family. Everything we tried (macrovegan lasagna, aubergines and the burger) was delicious. Also, their carob cake is totally worth a try.
I will surely visit La Casa Viva on my next trip to Valencia.
Pros: Food made with care and know-how.
