Wish I could give 5 stars because their vegan options are most definitely not an afterthought. So fricken flavorful. I definitely recommend the vegan floutas!

Excellent vegan options - Edit
We had the vegan flautas, and the vegan mushroom tacos. Both were really excellent! Perhaps having a few more vegan options would be nice, but the ones they have were amazing.

A friend and I decided to stop by La Doña for lunch, and our experience was pretty mediocre. Our margaritas were average, yet inconsistent, as mine was weak, and hers was pretty strong. For my food, I ordered the vegan cauliflower tacos, and they were just okay. The rice was on the bland side, and the beans were on the salty side. The taco itself had big chunks of fried cauliflower that I liked on its own but not within the tortilla as it felt awkwardly big (and the tortilla was not my favorite either). While none of my food was bad, I did not think it was great — and I feel you could get better and cheaper (or comprable) vegan food in the area.
Read moreFor the other vegan options on the menu, there were a few, and the staff did seem vegan aware. We went on a weekend, so there was a wait to sit down, and while our waiter was nice, our service was really spotty. I personally would not eat here again, but it is an okay option.

I’ve had breakfast and lunch here and both were so yummy. Loved the mushroom tacos and this sweet potato egg dish. The salsa is also so fresh and flavorful. They have a few options, but there could be more on their lunch/dinner menu.

The black Beans were 5/5 for sure! Great flavor and excellent service. Loved the vibe. Had a whole labeled vegan menu. I had the cauliflower tinga taco plate.

Excellent Tacos - Edit
I’d give this place five stars if the app would allow it for a non-vegan joint. I got one of each of their vegan mushroom taco choices. The crimini was good, but the battered portobello was AMAZING. Great and not too sweet margaritas. I love having options, and the place has great vibes. Go to there!

All of the vegan tacos were amazing. My favorite was the fried mushroom tacos. The sauce was so tasty. Also the black beans and rice that comes on the side are usually just something that’s forgotten but they were so good! We even ordered extra beans.

Super filling, colorful, and flavorful. I got the cauliflower tinga, and he got the chorizo gringo tacos. Wish I had room for the flautas too. My only complaint is I wish the cauliflower was chopped smaller so it was easier to eat as a taco. Good vibe. Ocean beach is the best

Loved the vibe and the food! I had the "cauliflower tinga taco" which was good. I tried my dad's "coliflor taco" and it was even better. Overall great experience.
