Really good

Had some really solid vegan options, relatively healthy for a luxury type restaurant, and the strawberry dessert was maybe the best dessert I’ve ever had.

Super vegan-friendly!!!!!!

I was SOOOO surprised to see how many vegan options they had!!! Almost as many as non-vegan ones!!! So if you’re planning to visit the Blue Lagoon rest assured, they’ve got your back (at a very expensive price however xD)

A Vegan King's Ransom $$$

Everyone knows Iceland is expensive. Still, just a heads up that a bowl of cauliflower soup will cost you $25. A beet salad of mostly lettuce is another $25. Soup and salad for $50. Cauliflower main dish is $44 and a slice of vegan cheesecake, while delicious, is $23. The restaurant is built into the side of a lava cliff with outstanding views. Atmosphere is amazing. The location makes it worth the price.

In short, if you're going to dine here my recommendation is to do the vegan tasting menu (only available after 5p and served to whole table). It's $100.

If you only have a day or two in Iceland you may want to visit the lagoon itself then go to an upscale veg-friendly restaurant in Reykjavik like Punk instead.

(fyi You're not allowed to bring your own food into the Blue Lagoon. The casual Lava Cafe in the main Blue Lagoon complex has some sandwiches, salads, smoothies.)

Vegan options are good

This restaurant has vegan options, including a five course vegan dinner (must be ordered for the whole table). There’s also vegan desert. A great option for vegan people visiting blue lagoon.

Great food on set menu

The four Course holiday Vegan Menu was fantastic, with pumpkin soup, leek and pea, vegetable roast and apple sorbet and chocolate mousse going down very well. The food was on the expensive side, but the staff were very attentive and knew the vegan options well. Very busy, but to be expected at a tourist-y venue!

Pros: Four Course Vegan Menu, Great Service

Cons: Expensive, Very busy

Vegan Upscale Dining in the Blue Lagoon

Highly recommend making reservations 1 month out if possible. We couldn’t get into the Moss Restaurant (even though we tried months out) and they booked us here instead, which worked out for the best! The aesthetic in this restaurant is beautiful, and each dish was excellent. It has an upscale feel, but it’s okay to dress casual.

Pros: Interesting and Delicious Dishes, Vegan Option in Every Category , Ambiance

Cons: Expensive , Easily Booked Out Months In Advance
