A little disappointing - Edit
Tried Le Potager De Charlotte after reading great reviews, but it was a bit of a mixed experience. The restaurant falls into the category of simple food done (mostly) well, and to be fair, that seems to be their aim.
Read moreWe accidentally went to the wrong location of the two restaurants, but they managed to find us a table, which we appreciated. However, some aspects of the service were less helpful, and there was no explanation of the dishes provided.
Now, onto the food. The pancake had an excess of pumpkin seeds, which overpowered the dish. The avocado egg lacked complexity, and once again, the pumpkin seeds dominated both the flavor and presentation.
On a positive note, the main courses were more visually appealing, and the sweet potato puree stood out as the highlight of the meal.
In summary, Le Potager De Charlotte offers simple food, and if that's what you're looking for, it might hit the spot. The service had its ups and downs, and while some dishes were a bit underwhelming, others had their redeeming qualities. A mixed experience, but worth a try if you're in the mood for straightforward fare.

Tasty, friendly, and quick - Edit
We had a reservation for a Friday night and were surprised that it wasn’t even that busy. Tables are small, there’s not much space to move your legs, and not much space between tables either. Ours was close to the back door, which was open. So a lot of cold came in.
Read moreThe food arrived quickly and was tasty. We skipped starters and had the sweet potato puree with tofu and vegetables and the pasta with chanterelles, as well as mousse au chocolat for dessert. The amount and size of tofu (tiny cubes) was a bit on the small side, the pasta dish was great. The mousse was tasty as well, although the bottom hadn’t stiffened and was more liquid than mousse. With a cider, a glass of red, and a cappuccino, we came down around €80 for two.
Pros: Tasty food , Friendly and fast service, Beautiful presentation
Cons: Draught from the back door, Cold toilet in the back yard, Very crammed, small tables

Sunday brunch - Edit
My partner and I had brunch here on a cold December Sunday . There was the choice of the set brunch menu or a La carte. We weren’t hungry enough for the set menu so opted to share a starter and two mains.
Read moreWe had the sesame tofu to start which was excellent. So much flavour!
We had potato as a main, along with a salad. After a particularly unhealthy Saturday the salad was gratefully received. The potato was very rich and a lot for one person (so I guess it’s lucky we shared!).
Highly recommend.
Pros: Laid back
Cons: Toilet

Delicious - Edit
My husband and I rated this as our favorite vegan restaurant out of 3 we tried in Paris. Maybe they served the type of food we appreciate best compared to the other restaurants. It just seemed more simple overall and healthier. Loved the tofu covered in a tasty coating served as an appetizer. Loved the lentil and mushroom dish. We felt like we really couldn't go wrong with anything on the menu and would definitely return again. Portions are very generous and I took home fully 1/2 of the appetizer and 1/2 of the entree so if you don't want leftovers probably best to not order both an appetizer and an entree unless you are very hungry. Service was attentive and nicely paced. The restaurant is a small space and we did have reservations. It filled up completely by the time we left.
Read moreThere are also nice drink options--I ordered a soy milk hot chocolate.
Pros: Simple, healthy, unfussy food, Attentive and unpretentious service
Cons: Really have no dislikes

The menu is smaller but all the food was really nice. The pasta was yummy, very filling, warm and soft. The staff was really friendly and the restaurant was very nice looking. You need reservations.

We’ve been here several times when visiting Paris & have never been disappointed. The food is delicious &, apart from the bread, all gluten free too. We will doubtless visit again next time we’re in Paris.

The new gold standard in vegan prep - Edit
A popular vegan influencer I follow had eaten here with her husband and raved about it, and after seeing the many amazing food [censored] photos, I decided to make a special stop in Paris “on the way home” to see if the experience lived up to the hype...
Read more… And it does. The only word I can really use to adequately describe the prep, taste, and umami is “otherworldly”; I’ve been to vegan restaurants that excel at “prep theater” and make beautiful food but leave one wanting on satiety; others provide fantastic umami and satisfaction but have very plain prep and presentation. Le Potager delivers mightily on both fronts.
The only issue I had is the space is very small and seating get cramped. But not oppressively so.
So hop on a plane, train, or automobile and hurry on over for an exquisite plant-based dining experience.

Delicious - Edit
This place was literally on the same block as my hotel so I decided to stop by. Ordered the eggplant dish which came with hummus and other veggies. They did not short you on eggplant, came with plenty. There was a lot going on with this dish but I feel it all blended together well. My friend ordered the pancake that I tried and it was good as well.

Amazing Family Plant Based Restaurant - Edit
Delicious whole food plant based food. We had lunch here on our last day on a Paris visit, and if we had found it sooner, we would've been back to try it all. The owner and the staff were all very kind and seem to be passionate about what they have created in this cute restaurant. We had the Pancake appetizer, Eggplant dish, and Rotini Pasta on their summer menu. Fantastic 🤤👏🤌

Easily one of the best meals I’ve ever had - Edit
This popped up on a few blogs saying it was the best place to eat in Paris so we decided to book a table which was easily done online.
Read moreIt was really busy so I’m glad we booked! The decor was really good and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great.
We shared two starters, each got the same mains and shared two desserts so maximise the amount of food we could try! Everything was phenomenal and I was particularly excited to try the grilled romaine. We also had the avocado hard boiled egg style, pasta for main and then one fruit and one chocolate dessert.
Service was quick and friendly and the food tasted phenomenal!

Top 3 Vegan Restaurants/Meals EVER - Edit
One of my top 3 vegan restaurants/meals ever. Must try the Avocado “Hard Boiled Egg.” Sesame Tofu beautifully crunchy and tasty. Cajun Wild Rice beautifully presented perfectly sauced and delicious. Chocolate Mousse also not to be missed. Had a chance to chat with owner David Valentine - a passionate young man who seems very happy with what he is doing. Read about him, his brother, and his family on their website. Don’t miss this treasure. Easy to make reservations online.

Good food, great bread, great dessert - Edit
I was not the biggest fan of some of the entrees we got (like the grilled romaine lettuce, which was pretty disappointing). But the pasta entree we got was pretty good, and the pancake dessert with a hazelnut spread was delicious. As was the bread. A nice dining experience as well.

Another fantastic vegan dinner in Paris - Edit
We got the marinated tofu and hummus & tomatoes to start. I loved the sesame and yogurt with the tofu and the hummus was some of the best I’ve ever had. For our mains we got the roasted eggplant and the seasonal salad. Both were very good. I also recommend the Dylan cocktail if you like orange.

Nice Place to eat Good vegan cuisine - Edit
we had a starter and a main meal in the restaurant. the tofu was served with an unbelievably delicious soy-lime sauce, which i will try to cook at home. the fried romanesco was great too. the main meals were pasta and rice, very stylishly arranged, but the starters were more convincing.

The most beautiful brunch in Paris! - Edit
The Sunday brunch is fantastic, and such a nice change from the usual vegan fare in Paris. The set menu includes a lot of food - savory and sweet - and two drinks, so you get to try a lot of different stuff. The dishes are creative, colorful, and delicious, and the service was great as well.
