Loved the vegan meal

This place offers one vegan entree per week so we called to see what that was today. It was amazing - black bean/quinoa cakes with mango salsa atop roasted corn and summer squash. We also shared the Sawmill salad, minus the cheese. We had called for a reservation and requested an outdoor seat which overlooked Albuquerque’s amazing views. It was spectacular. There were a few glitches with our order but it all worked out. We also had a prickly pear sorbet for dessert which was very tasty.

Pros: One vegan option but it was stellar, Amazing views, Friendly staff

Cons: A few glitches with our order

Amazing views, yummy food, great drinks

Despite what some others have said, there are vegan starter options available (avocado hummus, bruschetta, and a couple of things that can be made vegan). It is true that they only have one entree, but the ones I’ve had have all been great! The atmosphere and views are spectacular and the drinks are creative and tasty!

Pros: View, location, Cocktails, Tasty appetizers

Cons: Only one entree, Expensive

No idea why this is on happy cow

This restaurant changes the ONE vegan option weekly so it’s not constant. While I was staying there, we went for dinner and obviously I had the one thing on the menu, a pea risotto with a couple almond shreds and bacon bits which they described as ‘soy bacon slices’ and I thought they wouldn’t actually just be a sprinkling of bacon bits as they were. This one vegan option was $25 and for the price, I was not impressed. I had much better food at other locations in the city and I’m not sure who put this on happy cow but they should be removed unless the restaurant at least adds a couple ‘starter’ options.

Pros: Nice atmosphere , Great view

Cons: Expensive, ONE vegan option

Don’t seem to know what vegan means

I tried ordering breakfast room service and told the person on the phone I was vegan and asked what options they had. He said they could make an omelette. I told him eggs weren’t vegan. I asked what other options he had and he said avocado toast. I asked if the bread was vegan and he said no. I said that wasn’t really a vegan option then? It was very frustrating.

I ended up ordering nothing.

Fine dining that is not disappointing!

At last, ABQ has a restaurant that provides delicious and nourishing vegan cuisine in a fancy venue! This is now our go-to for celebrations and out-of-town guests we want to impress. Every week, the menu changes a bit. If you have allergies, you can even get the manager card and email to find out if your needs can be accommodated.

So far, we have had three different entrees and loved them all. They all included protein and flavor, and were presented beautifully.

The waitstaff are attentive and managers present to check on everything.

Full bar is a plus, with creative, locally-influenced drinks.

Rumor has it they will introduce a vegan brunch option soon, which we will certainly check out.

Pros: Delicious, Fancy, beautiful venue, Protein in vegan dishes!

Cons: Only one vegan entree
