My favorite falafel

Noel is a nice man who cares a lot of the individual wishes of the guests.
I love the Falafel Spezial with cauliflower and radish.

Pros: big falafel, good price

Cons: not fully aware of the need of a vegan

Best Falafel in Cologne

They have a lot of vegan options and it’s always made with love. I can really recommend the Baba Ganush and of course the Falafal Sandwich.

Sometimes it takes time to get the food, but that’s because they are usually working alone. That fact is giving the restaurant even more charme.

this is by far the best falafel in köln and the most lovely owner
can highly recommend the falafel wrap with foul

Not for sensitive vegetarians

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. Luckily, the grill is visible and I could see, that for heating the vegetarian food they remove meat from the grill and place the ingredients for the vegan sandwich directly on the place the meat was. I am very sensitive regarding this and I cannot and especially I don´t want to eat vegetarian/vegan food which is contaminated with meat. In my opinion this is careless or even disrespectful behaviour. For other people though who are not as strict as I am, they certainly have great and healthy food.

Cons: Food may taste like meat

Falafel made with love

If you want excellent falafel, then you should not be in a hurry. Take a seat and relax (keep your coat on, the owner saves on energy costs by mostly not having the heating on!).

I swear those falafel plates are made with love. The owner is very friendly. The salads are fresh, the sauces tasty. I like the tea that smells like grass. Desserts are delicious, too.

Great place to eat before or after going to the cinema (Cinenova nearby shows arty films in OV).

I think it's very unfair I can't give this place 5 cows because it serves meat.
