Veggie buffet with many options

A lot of options!
They have also egg for the vegetarians. There are a lot of mocked meat options to choose from.

Pros: Great variety for a good price.

Cons: Not the cosiest place to sit.

Great food

Had a really good lunch here. Lots of choice. Faux meat, tofu, rice, noodles and different veggies. They will let you use your own box if you take it.😄

The only issue I had was that she charged me more than the 3 locals who were in front of me and they had more food on their plate than me.

Pros: Tasty, Lots of people eating there, Cheap

Cons: The lady charging people wasn't very friendly at a, Charged me more than the the locals infront, Plastic waste- spoons, bags and containers.

I'm sorry for your unsatisfying experience. The lady is actually my mom, but if you come again, we would greatly appreciate to have you serve better at our shop.

Hard to find!

Not easy to find! Basic economic fried noodles for 5 or so ringgit. Good enough for a cheap meal! The place also serves drinks/juices/smoothies but only had 2 available out of an extensive menu when I visited.

Highly Recommend

Once you find the food court seating area for this place, you can definitely notice which one it is! Although signage leaves a bit to be desired, there was a steady stream of people lining up for a plate/box of food at the stall during lunch hour.

The food was delicious and fresh - perfect if you don't want anything too fancy or could just do with a big plate of fresh vegetables. Had a lot of vegan options and staff were understanding and helpful in pointing out what was available.

Plates are priced per item you put on there, but at a very affordable rate (I had a huge plate for 7MYR) :))

Pros: Lots of options, Extremely affordable, Delicious

Cons: Poor signage, Food court ambience leaves a bit to be desired

Worth it.

A very small, basic, help yourself stall at the basement of a very old mall. But holy cow, it was actually good food at very very great prices.

Pros: Lots of variety, Not too many mock meats, Actually tasty food

Cons: Some dishes were oily, Ambience isn't that great, but who cares.

Great Lunch Buffet Spot in heart of KK

Only open for Lunch but fantastic tasting buffet. The queue was non stop and no wonder as for our 5 weeks in all of Borneo this was the best vegetarian tasting food.
couldn't believe how busy it was!

Delicious food - Hidden in the food court

We got a 16 (rice dish) and a 19( noodle dish) both were made vegan for me. The lady at the counter was very helpful in talking through the menu and what could be adapted. The rice dish was really nice, the vegetables were perfect. It just needed a bit more sauce for how much rice there was. The noodle dish was superb. It was tastey had a mock meat in it that is super flavoursome. We liked it so much we got two extra to takeaway to have for a snack later. The buffet was pretty empty when we got there in the late afternoon (4pm), I feel if you went earlier in the day and it was fully stocked this would also be a good option.

Pros: Tastey food and affordable (two meals 14 MYR), Vegan options of main meals , Fast and helpful people

Best meal in this town!

First time we went it was evening and he shop was closed. Returned at lunchtime, shop was so busy! In the basement of Centre Point mall. You get given some rice on a plate and then you add a scoop of whatever you like from the buffet style plates. Pay at the end of the line. Drinks also available. Can also order from pictures above the counter.

Pros: Lots of choice, Cheap, Food choices for non-veg people in food court

Cons: Not the nicest location

Great food, amazing prices - ask about egg

There is a medium size buffet of dishes to choose from, ask the staff which contain egg - they are very helpful. Charged by number of different items, but a plate with 5 items and rice is around 8MYR. If you arrive at an hour when the buffet looks picked over, order off the menu - made fresh and was super tasty! I ordered black pepper chicken for 7.50MYR, decent size portion. I ate here often and would get take away for dinner (closes early)

Pros: Cheap! Tasty food

Cons: Buffet can start to get sketchy if you arrive at t

Standard fare

Normal buffet style Chinese vegetarian. There are also a'la carte options that I didn't try.
Note that there is spicy sauce by the counter. It is needed!

Pros: Low price, Good selection of drinks , For people who don't like spicy

Cons: Not so spicy. , More soy products than vegetables.

Cheap bit in the mall

Normal food, nothing stunning but still nice experience. Very nice lady behind the counter. Average sized portions, pretty plain - good for those who don't appreciate spicy:)

Extremely delicious

Very delicious food. You have the option of selecting from a buffet (though food appears to be priced per item - at a very cheap rate) or you can order off the menu.

Vegetable rich and also a huge range of mock meats which wer truely scrumptious. We kept going back.

Great prices - 15 ringit for two people with food ordered off the menu.

Pros: Delicious food, Numerous options, All vegetarian

Cons: Closes at 5.30pm, Based in a shabby food court.

Delicious food for less money

I spent one month in KK and almost ate everyday at this place. It's really cheap and so yummy (accept the soul). The environment is a bit noisy but you also get in contact with locals.

Pros: lots of vegan food, cheap

Tasty food, good price

A good range of various tofu and vegetable dishes including tasty mushroom fritters. Stall is part of the busy basement food court and has clearly marked vegetarian sign.

Pros: Cheap, good range of food

Cons: Not sure what the vegan options were

Nice vegetarian option in food court

Buffet style veggie food in the food court underneath Centre Point Sabah mall. Look for the sign "Liew Chai Vegetarian". We had a good lunch of about 1 euro each: just grab a plate an fill with what looks good. Plenty of veggies but also tahoe, tempeh and mock meat. Eating with the locals at one of the tables in the food court is a nice experience.
Food was good, although I was surprised it wasn't a bit more flavourful / spicy. This was only our second Malaysian meal and the first one was in a hotel so we thought they adjusted the food there to tourist taste, but in the food court it was the same style, flavour wise.
Still great value for money though!

ideal casual meal

An excellent choice if you are looking for a quick, casual, local-style meal. Great value, excellent selection, friendly staff. Popular place but the queue moves quickly.
I wondered if any of the fake meats are made with egg (those we found in supermarkets often did). I didn't try asking the staff, so can't say how easy it would be to find out.

Pros: amazing value, great variety

Cons: some dishes use egg

Food fresh, large portions and wide choice

Typical Malaysian family-run vegetarian restaurant, with large self service buffet. Food always fresh, large portions and wide choice even if some dish seems not particularly tasty or prepared with special care
Excellent the fresh fruit juices, instead (try delicious avocado).

Busy And Delicious Chinese Veggie Food

Popped in for lunch on a Monday. Found it quite easily on the basement food court, on a side bit opp MacDs. There was an encouraging queue and a clear vegetarian food sign. Help yourself canteen food. No signs to say what's what so I just picked what I fancied. A few things and rice came to just over RM3. Lots of choice and everything a had was absolutely delicious.

Pros: Cheap, Tasty, Busy

Cons: No Labels

Big choice of meals to choose from (about 10-15 different) you pay depending on how different you take. Between 2-5ringgit. Try the avokado drink!

Not too bad

I ate here three times in all. The food was cheap and tasty although mostly lukewarm or cold. I only had the buffet style dishes which were serve yourself. They were all good and there was a nice selection of vegetables, tofu and mock meats.

Pros: Cheap, Easy to find, Staple food

Cons: Cold dishes

Great selection of tasty food

I went for items for the buffet with rice. Very reasonable eaten a couple of times and a large plate comes to about 7RM. Seating is OK and shared with other food stalls around it. This place seems to be a lot more popular with locals than any of the other food places in the same area!

Pros: Good selection, Reasonable price

Tom Yam- yum!

I felt bad for everyone around me eating their chicken rice. My tom yam bihun soup was amazing!! It was super tasty, a bit spicy, and piping hot. I didn't get the buffet because I tried to ask if they used butter/margarine, and they couldn't understand my English (although, I think it's probably just oil, but I'm an overly paranoid vegan).

Pros: tasty, cheap, hot

Cons: English

good buffet

good selection of food at a great price. located in the food hall, although it seems to share paltes etc with other vendors, i did notice each food stall had colour coded plates, however it also does disposable dishes if you want to make sure!
a selection of about twenty dishes, those of which i had were warm and tasty. mixture of mock, tofu and veg dishes and some odd ones, an almost korean pickled dish was one. staff are friendly, and my meal plus a water cost 6myr(about gbp1), so a bargain. the one thing to note is that i think it's all vegan, as they had mock eggs, made from tofu.

Pros: tasty, nice staff, large selection
