A Little Overhyped - Edit
I came with quite big expectations, due to the very high ratings. Unfortunately, trying the Curryvurst and one of their burgers, I was left quite underwhelmed. The food was decent but by far nothing special.

Super friendly server and we loved the flavour (knoblauch and rosemary) also enjoyed our wurst and fish burger v much. Funny that a McD has closed next door!

Best place for the lunch break - Edit
Finally, there is a completely vegan menu for my lunch breaks. I've already gone through almost all of them. I really like it here. Delicious food, friendly staff. You should definitely try the nuggets. Everything is great :-)

The selection is good, the burgers are very tasty, the garlic fries were a bit too intense for me, but generally really delicious. The employees were very nice. It's a bit too expensive for the fast food atmosphere with disposable packaging.

Burgers were ok. A bit too much sauce made eating quite messy. We had the Green liner (the texture of the patty was a bit peculiar) and the fresh liner. The patty was very small compared to the bun. Fries are very good. Thick ones but very tasty. Don’t take ten garlic fries unless you are really into garlic.

Maybe a little bit expensive for fastfood. You get better (and healthier) vegan quality in Hanover for the same amount of money (though perhaps not near the train station).

Super Burgerbude in der City - Edit
Ganz zentral am Kröpcke gibt es mit dem Liners nun eine rein vegane Burgerbruzelei. Und die hat es in sich! Hier gibt es ausgezeichnete Burger, Vish & Chips, Curryvurst und weitere Leckereien. Besonders die knobi fries haben mich begeistert.

Alles vegan. Der Classic schmeckt ähnlich wie Fleisch, der Red Liners hat einen eigenen, rote-Beete-ähnlichen Geschmack. Für alle was dabei. Vor allem die Fries mit Knobi oder Rosmarin sehr lecker! Für Fastfood allerdings etwas teuer.

Liners' greatest strength has got to be its location: Right in the city-centre at Kröpcke, less than a 10 minute-walk from Central Station.

The variety is fine: The burgers ("Liners") all seem pretty unique and different from each other. There are also different types of fries.
And then, there is Vish 'n' Chips, Curryvurst and also "normal" as well as "chilli-cheese"-nuggets. I think something like a salad would be a pretty nice addition.
Lots of seating options outside and on the second floor, as well as a little bit inside on the first floor.
My biggest gripe might be the amount of waste that is produced with the packaging (though tbf, none of this is necessarily uncommon): there really is no need for all that single-use paper (and bit of plastic and wood) when you don't take away. At least, the drinks are served in glasses/bottles.
Update: They updated the Burger-packaging to be a little less wasteful. Props for that.
My "Green Liner"-burger did taste nice. Especially the sauce combined with the cucumber. I would have tried some more items, but I was too full. Guess I'll have to come back.

Finally fully vegan places in the inner Part of the city - Edit
I'm so happy that there is finally a fully vegan burger place in the inner part of the city. The food was great, i loved the vegan cheese on the Burger and the fries were amazing. They had great options and good prices, we paid 15 Euro for a menu, with a Burger, Fries and a Drink, which is a pretty good price for the size of the food and the quality. The service was really friendly. Will definitely come back.

Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt am Kröpcke, weniger als 10 Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Es gibt eine solide Auswahl an Burgern, die geschmacklich sehr überzeugen!
Read moreAuf Nachfrage hat das Team ebenfalls angeboten, All Gender - Toiletten einzuführen, was ein starkes intersektionales Zeichen (und leider in dieser Gesellschaft noch nicht selbstverständlich) ist.
Die Atmosphäre ist ebenfalls sehr angenehm, es gibt drinnen (oben) und draußen komfortable Sitzmöglichkeiten.
Auch die Preise sind angemessen.
Als Kritikpunkt käme mir auf, dass Dinge dort auch beim Essen vor Ort unnötig und plastikreich verpackt werden. Da gibt es noch Verbesserungspotenzial, ansonsten top.
Komme auf jeden Fall wieder💜

The burger I have tried (Red Liner) was very nice, but likely better suited for vegans than for meat eaters, as the patty was not as « meaty » as, say, a Beyond Meat patty.
The nuggets and chili cheese nuggets were quite good, and the garlic fries were superb.
