Meh… - Edit
Was average. Fairly tasteless. Not what I was expecting. But A for effort - apprently this was made to order by one man who stayed late to make all the orders.

Such a gem - Edit
Another vegan friend recommended me to come here and I am stoked to know about it! So many awesome (non boring/basic) vegan options.
Read moreWe got breakfast burritos today and cannot wait to come back and try some of their other menu items.
I got the hashbrown breakfast burrito, it has tofu, “bacon” , “sausage”, vegan cheese, hashbrowns, and beans. 10/10 the salsa was also super tasty. My bf got the California breakfast burrito and said it was great also!
Pros: lots of options , quick service

Grungy food, location, service - Edit
As others noted, ridiculously HUGE menu which I guess is fine for some people. Personally I'd be grateful if they did less options, and did them better. I had significant avocado peel (yes the black part) in my burrito, and as noted in other reviews, it's pricy for what you get and crummy ambiance. Service is also poor. I am grateful to have the option to go there but, can't bring myself to do it most days.

Interesting, but not great - Edit
It was cool to see such a wide range of options. The food was decent. I noticed that they used styrofoam containers and (non-biodegradable) plastic utensils.

So many options! - Edit
So appreciated going to a taco shop and having more options than a bean burrito or cheese quesadilla! I had the vegan cali burrito and it was so yummy!! But I wish it was spicy.

Still one of the best hole-in-the-wall type of food place. Always worth to get a burrito. Big portions and huge variety.

Totally yummy! - Edit
It’s kinda weird going into a liquor store to eat dinner but my whole family loved it. A LOT of options and I would def return to keep trying it all! The only bummer is that there is no public bathroom but please don’t let that stop you from trying it out. Or maybe get it to go! The food is really really good!

Not bad, not great - Edit
Fine if you’re in the area—not like there’s a huge abundance of options around. I wouldn’t go out of my way. Food is high volume but not very flavorful.

With so many vegan options in SD, this place is not worth it - Edit
I was excited to see a Mexican place with a separate vegan menu but everything I ordered was disappointing. I ordered a BBQ pizza and it was awful, just a load of BBQ sauce with some mock chicken slices and a couple of onions. Their loaded fries and burrito was so bland I couldn't eat it. So disappointing for the money spent.

Really tasty, good value. - Edit
You can get simple tacos with onions and cilantro for $3:50 or loaded tacos also with lettuce and guacamole y más for $6:50. I had two simple and one loaded. Very tasty. Grassroots neighborhood food market. Has outdoor tables with umbrellas on high energy Voltaire Street, just a few blocks from beach. Excellent vibe

Great selection and good fast food. Not my favorite in town but a great alternative if you feel like going to to a Roberto’s. Also serve some vegan items with Cheetos which are not vegan in the US.

Best Mexican tacos in San Diego - Edit
They are inside a liquor store, which is strange and kind of fun at the same time and they do have a couple of tables outside. While the place may not be enticing, their vegan food is AMAZING! They have a huge vegan menu. My husband and I had the adobada, birria, chicken, asada and spicy shrimp tacos and they were honestly the best tacos we’ve had in San Diego. I would’ve given them 5⭐️s if I could.
Read moreThey also have a new location on Hillcrest, Mexico Lindo so we are going there today!
They also had corn tamales! So we took some home and had them for breakfast this morning… absolutely delicious! Just like the ones we have in Sinaloa, Mexico.

Don't go here. - Edit
The food tastes okay, but as a former employee of Adrian(the owner) I am letting you know right now that he doesn't follow ANY health code standards. He doesn't wash his hands, or wear gloves. The produce isn't properly washed. He takes his employees tips. He serves old food and occasionally will sell non vegan food to his customers, knowing that it isn't vegan. He also has his Litickers instagram, that he was allowing one of us to operate, but when we went on it, we could see what he was associating himself with and liking.... We saw that he was using his work instagram to look up photos of NOTHING else, but almost fully naked women. He has women working for him, so to go on his professional IG account and sexualize women on it, is really gross, especially since he is MARRIED! After working for him at El Jardin in MSM, I decided to go to the Litickers in OB. I ordered a gluten free burrito and birria tj taco. The burrito was not in a gf tortilla and was very oily. The tj taco is supposed to have 3 slices of radish, but instead, he threw a whole radish on my taco and called it a day. I felt really disrespected as a customer and a former employee. I won't be going back or promoting them every again. I hope that one day he can start treating his customers with a little more care and respect.

Don’t eat here - Edit
I really wanted to like this place... but we were very disappointed. I ordered plain tofu for my three year old and found mold all over it, and I have a hard time believing they didn’t see it as they were cooking it! The guacamole was super dark and looked old, and we were not given the side of rice that we paid for. The food that was edible was ok at best. Go elsewhere!
